It's a late update, I know. But this chapter is going to be special and I want to make it beautiful and not graced with negativity.

LAILAH
Another day, another beautiful morning Subhan Allah. I was staying on the balcony, enjoying the chilly morning breeze and concentrating on my Dhikr. It was a little bit after Fajr, so the sun hasn't risen completely yet.I loved the silence, I loved the weather. Allah certainly does beautiful things, so beautiful that you can't describe them.
I was engrossed in my Dhikr, when someone called my name. I couldn't really recognize the voice since it was faintly audible. But as a blind person I had more developed senses of hearing, smelling and skin sensitivity. I could probably guide you in the dark in my own house, it sure is an adventure, believe me.
"LAILAAAAAH!"
Eh, looks like I have to attend this so desperate call of this impatient person.
I slipped into my Abaya, adjusted my Hijab, pinning it securely, then war my Niqab tying it and headed from where I heard the voice, which definitely was downstairs.
"Ah, princess Lailah finally came to breakfast." Zahra said in a mocking tone.
"Oh, please Aapi, I am in no mood for your mocking right now. I am thinking this is going to be a beautiful day, so don't break it with your moodiness and yelling at others."
"Lailah! Don't speak like that to me, I'm older."
"Ok, then. I will not speak in this house, you can speak as much as you want. I am staying neutral." I declared calmly. Despite my sister's mumbling, I still got what she was saying but I didn't let it get to me. I silently ate my breakfast.
After finishing, I, of course was punished by queen Zahra to clean everything while she was watching TV and ordering me around. Not only that, but she also blasted up the music.
"Turn down the music, please." I said over the music.
"Why? What's wrong with it."
"Well, just hear what they're singing about. It's Haram, Aapi. I do not wish to listen to Haram songs. If you'd like, turn on Nasheeds or Quran then I'll be pleased and maybe, will do my job faster and better. Otherwise I shall have to leave the room and let you finish it yourself." I said, smirking. She knew she had no other choice, but if I wanted peace, this was the only thing I could do. She agreed
"AssalamoAlaikum!" Mariam yelled from the door, probably coming from somewhere. I smiled, returning her the greeting.
"Where were you, sissy?" I asked with a teasing tone. She just grinned at me.
"Maybe somewhere with your brother-in-law." She said back with the same tone.
"Ooh! I see, I see sparks of love around the air." I said, flipping my imaginary hair, which ended up in flicking my Hijab at which Mariam laughed wholeheartedly.
"Don't even try it, you know you don't have that character." She said to which I gave a thumbs up.. After that silence fell upon us for a long time maybe. Then I realized how much I missed my parents. I started thinking what if they were here? Maybe it all would've been different...
"Lailah?" Someone shouted.
"Uh! Yeah, what?" I said, brought back into the real world.
"May I ask you a question?" Mariam asked and I just smiled, nodding in agreement.
