It's a story about a woman that used to be well known all around the world as a singer but unlucky for her, her ‚american dream' crashed down.
After her career ends she moves away from loud New York to much more quiet place. To her home town Aberdeen, North Carolina. She opens her own place, a karaoke bar. It's there, that she meets a guy that don't know her or her music. She find it quite refreshing and decide to go for it.
But what will happen between them when lies will come in the way and her past will remind her of itself?
