CH. 4

When school ends me, Glory, and Mike meet up with the band.

“Ok, well Glory and Mike you guys can follow Kevin and Zach, me and Cory will be there soon after” Blake says

We make our way to the cars, Kevin’s red Buick lacrosse, and Black a black Honda s2000. I got in, the interior is black leather. When he gets into the driver’s seat he rears the engine the cd player is already on with a three doors down song.

“So where are we going?” I ask

He smiles, “Practice”

I look at him confused, “Pra… are you serious you are going to make me practice boarding?”

He laughs, “Why surprised?”

I shake my head, “Fine, but what did you need to tell me?”

He don’t say anything so I look at him, he sighs, “I’ll tell you in awhile”

When we get to the park not many people is there today, we get out and make our way to the same small ramp he took me to yesterday.

“Ok hop on” he puts the skateboard down.

Taking a deep breath I get on without his help this time, and push off keeping my balance I go up the small ramp and back down to him,

I smile, “I did it” I squeal and jump into him for a hug. He hugs back and I just fall right into it, his arms around me holding me to him where I feel his body heat come through my clothes. He smells really good and I keep breathing him in. “I’m going to miss you” I whisper.

He pulls me back; “I’ll miss you to, but Cory I don’t want to go without telling you…” he cuts off

“Tell me what?” I ask

He’s about to open his mouth to say something when a voice behind me says, “That he loves you”

I turn and sure enough Tammy and Vicky is there with another girl I think they call her Sammy.

“Ah Cory it’s so nice to see that you like people like him” Vicky says

“Yeah I do Vick and you know what I’m tired of you two and your rules, so yeah I’m out”

They laugh, “Duh” they say then turn and leave

I turn back to Blake who is just staring at me, “What?” I ask

He smiles, “Nothing” then before I ask about what he was going to say he leans in and kisses me. I just stand there frozen until I realize what is happening and kiss him back. We kiss for what seemed like forever but it was really only two minutes before we both pull back and grin at each other.

“We should probably go, band practice can’t go on without you” I say

He grabs my hand in his and we get back into the car. Zach’s house was a nice white house with a garage and basement. Parking we got out and made our way into the garage where band practice is held. Once in, he goes to sing and I take Glory’s hand and lead her a little down the drive way.

“Cory, what the heck”

I turn toward her, “I got caught by Vicky, Tammy, and Sammy when I was at the park with Blake, and I told her I was out. And then me and Blake kissed” I smiled remembering and still having the tingle of his lips on mine.

“What? Wow, so what does that mean for me?” she frowns

“What do you mean?” I ask arching an eyebrow

“Well, I’ve been wanting to get out, so do I just say it or do I just hang out with you and then they’re get the message”

I smile, “Just stick with me and Mike and they will get the message”

“You and Blake huh?”

My smile grows, “Yup”

“So what about when he leaves?”

My smile turns into a frown, “I don’t know, but I don’t really want to think about it”

She nods and we make our way back to practice. Only to hear the band playing a song that’s about a girl being a boy’s angel sent from heaven. Blake’s voice sound so amazing and perfect, with him and the members I most defiantly see why someone would sign them up for a mini tour.
