Oh my gosh, ang awkward sumayaw kaya ako ng budots?? joke lang hehe
"What are you doing here, Ms. Guzman?" Mr. Gociago asked, our school supervisor.
"Good morning, teachers. Prof. Montikawa brought me here po" I said with a sly smile plastered on my face hehe plastic ko talaga.
"Oh, you must be his chosen representative for the upcoming Math Competition. Take a seat, Ms. Guzman" sabi niya at inoffer sakin yung chair na nasa harap niya.
Oh my gosh! ANONG MATH COMPETITION?! Eh ayaw ko nga ng math tapos pinapasali ako dito! How ironic.
"Kalbo'ng yung. Sakit sa ulo" I whispered to my self. Tapos umupo ako beside the empty chair Mr. Gonciago offered. There were two empty chairs, so bale ang position namin is ganito:
Mr. Gonciago- Mrs. Ferz- Ms. Claud

"Ehem" tumikhim si Mr. Gonciago kaya napalingon kaming tatlo sa kanya. There are two other people here which I'm not really familiar with kase hindi ako masyadong friendly sa mga teachers.
"It seems like the other two participants are late" Mr. Gonciago stated the obvious, then he looked at his big silver watch. As if it was directed, bumukas ang pinto ng padabog, tapos pumasok yung dalawang lalake. Hmm, sila yung mga lalakeng pinagtilian sa classroom ah. May galit ba sila sa pinto?! Ba't palaging marahas pag bumukas.
"Good morning" they both greeted in chorus. Oh my gosh! Siya yung pretend boyfriend ko! The one who offered me a ride this morning! Now that I think of it, di ko pa rin alam yung pangalan niya until now.
He scanned the whole room with his eyes, tapos he saw me. He gave me a boyish smile. Tsk, pa cool talaga tong mokong na to, kala niya nag sh-shoot siya ng music video. I returned his smile, kala niya ah.
Tapos umupo na sila sa vacant chairs. Now that I noticed the other one--- WHAT A SMALL WORLD! Si La dwende pa nga naman! Dumidikit na naman ata si kamalasan sakin. Maybe he noticed that someone was staring at him kaya he looked into my direction, he smirked. I gave him my deadly glare, hindi pa ako naka ganti sa kanya tapos smirk lang ang matatanggap ko?! Nakakababa ng pride kasi parang he's mocking me that I can't do anything about it. Gosh!
"Good morning, students. Since we are all here, We would like to discuss about the upcoming Math Competition", the middle-aged woman sitting at the center said, "But before that, some of you may not know us, it may be better for you to know who we are because we will be with you for a week." She then flashed a sweet smile. Her face muscles must be really tired, hindi ba siya nangangawit sa palaging ngumingiti?? Kanina pa yan ah.
"I'm Mr. Ray Gonciago, the school supervisor, the three of you may already know me because I roam around in the campus a lot" Mygash! Can we skip your part? We already know you. Para akong pipi dito kanina pa walang imik. Napapanis na ata laway ko.
"And this is, Mrs. Ferz, Math teacher and Royal Tutor of Mr. Frederick Layhound. She graduated as a cum-laude here at Surrey University achieving the highest GPA in Mathematics and Social Studies." Sabi niya while gesturing at the woman sitting at the middle.
Wow, parang nanliit ako dun, ang gara pala nitong smiley woman na to. Kala ko upo upo lang siya diyan tapos smile smile lang. Medyo wrinkled yung face niya, yan napapala kapag palaging nakasmile. Pero ang sophisticated niyang tignan tapos yung pagka upo niya halatang may class, kasi lean back tapos chin up and then smile yung posture niya, cinacareer niya talaga.
"And this..." sabi ni Mr. Gonciago, gesturing at the woman.... err girl parang mas matanda pa ako dito ah, "She is Ms. Claud, an Alumni of Surrey Uni. She was a dean's lister for four straight years. She graduated as a Magna Cum laude with a GPA of 3.8 and then studied to become an engineer." Gosh! Mukha siyang bata, sarap itapon sa Pasig river. Innocenteng innocente talaga yung parang kapay pinitik mo ng mahina iiyak na at good girl din pala to ah, Dean's lister tapos Manga cum laude... not bad.
Mygash! Aba't 'not bad' talaga, Araiah! Ayaw mo na nga mag calculate ng angles tapos ang bobo mo pa sa Mga quadratic formula! Makapag 'not bad' ka akala mo ang talino ko hehe. Wow, I'm talking to myself.
"Okay" casual na sabi ni La dwende. Amp! Parang wala lang sakanya ah! Sabagay why do I care? While I just nodded. Ano pa bang sasabihin ko? Duh.
"Tsk." Umiling si Mr. Gonciago na parang sanay na siya. "Anyway, from now on they will teach you further lessons about Math para sa upcoming competition." sabi ni Mr. Gonciago, OH MY GOSH! Ba't ba ako pinasali dito nung kalbo'ng 'yon. Hindi nga ako magaling sa Math eh.
"Excuse me, Mr. Gonciago but I think I don't have the brains to participate in the competition. Maybe there was an misunderstanding" sabi ko. Buti nalang I protested baka kasi mapapanis na talaga ang laway ko. Ba'y naman ako sasali dyan eh kahit pa turuan ako ng dalawang smartass di pa din siguro uubra, baka makatulog lang ako.
"Ms. Guzman, right?" sabi ni Mr. Gonciago, tumango naman ako. Tapos tumingin siya sa papers na hinawakan niya, "You have the highest score in your previous exam. That is the reason why Prof. Montikawa chose you. You got 98/100, right?" Oh shit, I'm dead.
"Ah, oo pala sir. I forgot about that sorry hehe"
Mr. Gonciago just smiled. I'm dead! Hindi ko naman talaga answers yun eh! I just copied from different sources, kasi wala talaga akong tulog at umaga na ako naka uwi galing sa bar nun!How I wish to get out from here, but I can't just tell them na I cheated off a Math test at sa harap pa ng mga magagaling sa Math! Shit!
"Math Competitions are held every year,where students who excel at Mathematics compete. Students are sent to a remote place, in which where you will be sent. They stay there for 5 days (max). Ms. Guzman, who has the highest score, Mr. La Fuente, who made an outstanding Math report and Mr. Herd...." Mr. Gonciago trailed off tapos tumingin ulit sa papeles na hawak niya, matalino pala tong dwende na to. Pano pag silang dalawa mga matalino pero ako hinid?? Out of place talaga ako neto, maybe they will start talking about graphs and numbers OH GOSH NO! Pero seryoso I didn't really expect for them to be smart kasi parang wala silang pake. And,Herd pala yung name ng client ko (Pretend boyfriend).
Huhu, pano na to should I confess na hindi sakin nanggaling yung mga answers??
Tumukhim si Mr. Gonciago he looked puzzled. Well, I don't really carte basta maka labas na ako ditoooo. Na suffocate ako, dahil lahat dito matatalino. Shit.
"Ang finally Mr. Herd..... who was sent here as a punishment for jumping out a window during math class...??"
