Sorry that I haven't been updating, Katsuki and Todoroki kept on distracting me😅

"Wait, what do you mean human?" I questioned, stepping closer to the Peppermint.

"Well, I heard some soul say that if it was destroyed in the Mushroom War, then it was either an object in the time of the humans or it was actually a human." He said. "But, the soul who said that was sent to hell for being a liar, so we're not sure"

"It's probably not human, anyways, since you and Finn are the only living ones, and the monsters are still searching"

"Ugh, good." I sighed in relief.

I thanked PB and Peppermint Butler for their help and turned to leave, stuffing my hands in my pocket. But it was blocked by something.

I dug my hand inside and took it out, it was the mug.

"Oh, PB, I found this in the dungeon." I said, handing her the mug. PB took it and placed it on the table.

Peppermint butler examined it, before saying. "Huh......that's weird" then shrugged at it.

I waved goodbye and exited the castle, heading towards the Treehouse.

For my safety, I walked in the shadows underneath the candy trees.

I knocked on the door of Finn and Jake's house, later answered by the adorable green robot (is he a robot??!)
"(Y/N)! You're back!" It exclaimed, hugging my leg.

"Oh, hey (Y/N)" Jake greeted, his head poking out from behind the doorway.

The two invited me in, telling me that I was just in time for lunch.

"Hey, man" Finn said, as he sat beside me, chomping on an uncooked pack of noodles. Jake came to us and set two plates of bacon pancakes....again.

"So, (Y/N), what do ya wanna do tomorrow?" The boy asked, looking over to me. "Oh, I don't know-" "Actually, PB is gonna come over to show us some things she made." Jake cuts in. The boys face shown a sad expression and a light blush at the mention of her name.

"Finn, you need to get over your Princess Bubblegum sad times!!!"

"Woah, okay, what the hell happened between you two!?" I pointed at Finn.

"N-nothing!"

"THEN WHY ARE YOU SAD ALL OF A SUDDEN!!" Jake shouted in confusion.

"I-I......." The boy glanced over to me, showing the tears that were swelling up in his eyes corners. "I gotta go" He dropped his half eaten uncooked noodles and flees to the window, and jumping out. "Finn! Wait!" Jake called out before Finn climbed up to the roof.

"Crap!"

"Uhhhhhhh.......(Y/N) go after him!!!!!!"
He commanded, pushing me to the window. I sighed and faced Jake as he wrapped his stretched arm around my waist and helped me to the roof. Releasing me when I stepped down my foot.

I turned. "Finn"

I stared at the silhouette of a silently sobbing boy, hugging his quivering legs to his chest as he looked up to the colorful sky, it began to darken.

The leaves of the tree shuffled as I stepped closer, causing him to jolt his head towards my direction. "O-oh, h-hey (Y/N), hehe, w-what's up?" He said between sobs, trying to brighten the vibe and cover up the fact that he's crying.

"F-Finn, are you okay?" I asked, sitting beside him.

"Y-yeah, I'm fine. I just poked my eye on accident"
