Love Isn't Always Fair

*Chapter 6*

Andy's POV

I look around for Reggie. He was nowhere to be found. " Hey, dude, come on. She'll be fine. Reg went to look after her," Jinxx says placing a hand on my back. So that's where he went. I take in a deep breath and quickly let it out. " Okay, Black Veil Brides, 1 minute till cue," I man yells. We walk up to the curtain and grab everything we need.

Ashley grabs his bass, Jinxx grabs his guitar, Jake grabs his, and CC grabs his lucky drumsticks. He doesn't use them unless we need them. And I'm sure we need them tonight with Ali and all. " Okay, you're on," The guy says. Ashley runs on first, then Jake right behind him, Jinxx follows, and CC skips on stage. What a loser. I run on and put on my best smile. " What's up, New York?" I yell into the mic. Everyone begins scream. My smile falls.

" Well, I'm sorry, and I'm sure the guys are too, but we are truly sorry that we missed last night. We just had some issues. And, um, I know this is a lot to ask for, but can you guys go onto Twitter, Instagram, anything really and post a picture using hashtag For Ali. Thanks, that means a whole lot to us. My sister, she collapsed just a few minutes ago before we came on. She is at the hospital and we have no idea if she is okay. So, this show goes to her," I say. The crowd explodes.

I turn to the guys and give them our secret code for a song. I asked for the Mortician's Daughter. They all nod and get ready. I pull on the mic and mic stand so it is closer to me. " I open my lungs dear. I sing this song at funerals, no rush. These lyrics heard a thousand times, just plush. A baby boy you've held so tightly, this pain it visits almost nightly. Missing hotel beds, I feel your touch..."

I walked off the stage with a frown. Playing was the only thing that was keeping my mind off Ali. Yet, it still wondered to her. Someone laughs which grabs my attention. I look up and there stands Ali. I run up to her, picking her up, and spinning her around. She giggles and hugs me back. She hugs the others and saves Jake for the end. I watch as they hug. She tried to pull away but he just pulled her closer and said something.

We all head back to the bus. It was our last night. Sad, I know. Not really. I'm ready to not live in this stupid bus. Although I love it at the same time. I think I'll name it Bertha. Totally off topic. Stupid ADHD.

Right now I was helping Ali back her bag. I was still worried about her. " I love you," I blurt out. She looks at me shocked. I can't believe I said that. I haven't said it in a long time, but it was true. And I think that this event truly showed me how much I really loved her. As siblings of course. "I love you too," She whispered and hugged me.

"Hey um Andy uh can I um talk to you really quick," Jake says nervously scratching the back of his neck. I nod and watch as Ali leaves. " so, don't be mad, but I think I like Ali. A lot," He says. I nod and look at him. He wouldn't do what Ashley did. He would protect. Honestly, I'm shocked. But I shouldn't be. I witnessed all of it. Him hugging her and always comforting her.

" Well, ask her out," I say with a smile. Yes, I was worried and didn't want her to date. But that's just my older brother side showing. Well, by like a few seconds. " Are you sure?" He asks. " Yeah, I know you wont do anything to her. But don't mention it to the guys. We have to ease them into it. Ashley will freak. I know he will because he liked her too," I tell him. He nods and looks at the door. I run over and close.

I walk back to him and look at his expression. It looked like he was trying to contain his excitement. " No, funny business," I tell him. He looks at me shocked. " Of course, well, at least not until she is ready," he says. " You never know. She might love you now, but things happen. And it's cool that you guys are together, but love doesn't always work how you want it too," I tell him. He nods and quickly hugs me. I chuckle and hug him back.
