Hydrophobia

They appeared in a car Dean recognized immediately. He smiled. "Look at you, baby. Gabriel, why were the milkshakes so bad?"

"No." He replied quickly.

"What do you-"

"Nope!"

"I-"

"Nuh-uh!"

Dean groaned at his stubbornness. "Whatever. Where are we now?"

"In this one, you and Cas met on the swim team. You're the team's best swimmer and Cas is the manager."

"Alright. Anything else I should know?"

"Well, Cas has a pretty serious case of hydrophobia."

"Hydro-what now?"

Gabe groaned. "It's a fear of water."

"Um, a few things. One, if Cas has hydrophobia, why is he the manager for the swim team?"

"Phys-Ed credit. He's not exactly what you'd call 'athletic'."

"Right. And why is he afraid of the water?"

"Childhood trauma, my boy. He nearly drowned like eight years ago."

"Huh. So, where are we going?"

Gabe smirked. "You'll see."

They eventually came to a stop and Dean.2 got out of the car. The real Dean and Gabe disembarked as well, and Dean realized Cas was blindfolded. It must've been a surprise or something. Or a kinky thing, Dean wasn't sure.

Dean.2 led Cas towards a small pool in the distance.

"Almost there." Dean.2 spoke.

"Okay." Cas replied.

"What am I doing?" Dean.1 asked Gabe.

Gabe only grinned and repeated, "You'll see."

"Just wait here a minute, okay?" Dean.2 returned to the Impala and started playing a song on the stereo. Dean recognized it instantly.

"I can't fight this feeling any longer."

Dean.2 took off his shirt and scooped up Cas in his arms. This caught Cas by surprised and he yelped a little.

"It's just me, it's okay." Dean.2 soothed.

"And yet I'm still afraid to let it flow."

"Dean." Cas whispered.

"What started out as friendship has grown stronger."

"It's okay, Cas." Dean.2 said softly.

"I only wish I had the strength to let it show."

"W-what are you doing?"

"I tell myself that I can't hold on forever."

"Something." He smirked.

"I say there is no reason for my fear."

Dean.2 got them both in the pool, Cas quickly wrapping his arms around Dean's neck.

"Cause I feel so secure when we're together."

"Don't freak out, okay?"

"You give my life direction,"

Dean.2 removed Cas's blindfold to reveal where they were. He realized they were in a pool and started screaming.

"You're making everything so clear."

"Castiel! Calm down! Look at me! Look at me!"

"And even as I wonder!"

Dean cupped Cas's face in his hands so he was forced to look into his eyes. He started breathing heavily and there were tears streaming down his face.

"I'm keeping you in sight!"

"Dean... please... get me out of here." Cas whispered.

"You're a candle in the window on a cold, dark winter's night!"

Dean.2 shook his head. "Look into my eyes, baby." He held him closer, Cas looking straight into his eyes. Cas kept begging Dean to let him out.

"And I'm getting closer than I ever thought I might!"

"It's okay, baby. I got you." And he pressed his lips against Cas's.

"Baby I can't fight this feeling anymore!"

The real Dean watched in amazement. He felt something tugging at his heartstrings as he watched them kiss.

"I've forgotten what I started fighting for!"

He had a feeling he knew what it was.

"It's time to bring this ship into the shore!"

Should he embrace it?

"And throw away the oars forever!"

Or just let it go?

"Cause I can't fight this feeling anymore!"

No. He couldn't do that.

"I've forgotten what I started fighting for!"

He knew what he felt was real, and that he should act upon it.

"Even if I have to crawl upon your floor!"

Dean Winchester.

"Come crashing through your door!"

Had fallen in love with Castiel.

"Baby, I can't fight this feeling anymore."
