Trees, I was surrounded by trees that went deeper and deeper into the forest until I could see nothing but greyish hue. I breathed out my pent up frustration, everything looked like a maze. I took a glance at the sky. The sun was setting, an orange sky filled with specks of yellow and red. Beautiful and mesmerizing.

I walked deeper into the forest trying to figure a way out of this. The feeling of familiarity and warmness lingered and it bothered me, the sudden stillness and peculiarity in the atmosphere did not go unnoticed. I let my eyes wander, seeking the unknown.

In the haze of my panic, I snapped my head left and right. It was a miracle that I did not get a whiplash, my breath halts right in my throat. I could feel the burning gaze of something or in my case someone, my body tensed. Thinking of all the things I could do in case it attacked.

I hesitantly turned my sickly pale face towards it and raised my coal eyes. Fuck me, I'm going to die right here! Smokey grey eyes clashed with mine, I took a step back in bewilderment.

The dark silhouette that resembled the physique of a man was perched up on a branch of the tree. Jaw sharper than a razor and piercing eyes that scrutinized my face with intensity I couldn't fathom.

Everything else was well hidden by the dark oak branches of the tree. My vision blurred and everything started to close in on me, I struggled to breath but the oxygen reaching my lungs wasn't enough.

Jolting away from my deep slumber, I sat up gasping for air desperately. My vision cleared as I took big gulps of the oh-so-sweet oxygen. I shivered and took in my wet form. Wet hair clung to my head and eyes stung from direct contact with the water, courtesy of the baboon whose face turned to an ugly shade of red as the seconds passed.

That tiny piece of sh-

"Wake up you little shit, I ain't wastin' my bloody time on waking ya every morning', shop is waiting for ya, dearest mummy spat before trotting away like the baboon she is.

I groggily walked towards the bathroom, stumbling and almost smacking my head in the wall. What a lovely morning it is. I walked towards the Jacuzzi tub and filled it with warm water. I took my time brushing my teeth while the tub was filling with water. When I was done with my brushing, I added my favorite honey and rose extracts in the bathtub, I inhaled deeply, letting the sweet aroma calm me.

After taking a bath, I dressed myself in black skinny pants with a white full sleeve t-shirt and leather jacket. People would kill to be in my place, why wouldn't they. I have daddy's money, a big house yada yada yada. It sucked to be a daughter of a rich snob, the one and only Micheal fucking Stanford. Correction, adopted daughter of Micheal Stanford.
