Chapter Four

{Nicole's P.O.V.}

"Honey come here." River called me all the way from his office. He's doing a lot of the packs' bill and other things. I'm not a werewolf but a human. I married River because I loved him.

River told me that his mate died in a car crash. I felt bad but happy because he's all mine and only mine. He also said he wish I was his real mate in the beginning but I'm his mate now.

We have two beautiful boys together.

I decided to go out and get some grocieries for lunch. But, then, someone bumped into me that made me dropped them.

"Excuse me? Aren't you going to help me pick those up since you bumped into me?" I asked but all she did was stand there giving with a flat flace.

"I'm not interested. Pick them up by yourself. Also, you being really happy annoys me a lot" was all she said and walked away.

Well, that was rude of her.

When I got home, I dropped off the bags on the counter. She doesn't seem to care about anything and no reaction of saying sorry.

"Oh, welcome back. How was your trip to the store?" River asked, giving me a peck on the cheek.

"I don't know. This woman didn't want to help me pick up the food when she bumped into me. And she said that me being happy annoys her."

"Oh... Well, are you sure you're okay?"

"Yep!" I flashed a smile right away. "Can you get my two favorite boys for me? I'm going to be making lunch right now."

"Anything for you." he said, going upstairs to grab Jerry and Will.

That woman... She looks so familar. She's kind of like the one that was use to be in our pack but she has moon black hair while the other one had dark brown hair. She left the pack when I gave birth to two boys and boy, she didn't seem too happy about that.

{Flashback to 7 years ago}

"Honey! We have two beautiful boys!" River said with excitement.

I flashed a smile with watery eyes as if I'm about to cry. I was holding one of them and stared down at them.

"I'm leaving the pack." the girl said, standing up and turning around.

"WHAT?!" River yelled. "But why?!"

"I have no right to be here. Have fun with your new family because I don't care anymore." She put on her hood that covered half of her face and started walking away.

"WAIT! PLEASE!" I yelled, going after her but she gave me a poisonous glare that scares me a lot and I started backing away a little.

"STAY AWAY! I DON'T WANT NEITHER OF YOU GUYS GOING AFTER ME! IF I'M LEAVING, I'M FUCKING LEAVING!" She yelled. "Also, I don't give a damn if you have two newborn boys!"

Then, she disappeared into the forest. It startled me because I thought she was jealous by the fact that I married River.

We looked almost everywhere for her but she was nowhere to be found. But she's suppose to be dead 'cause she died in a car accident.

I put on my apron and started cooking up some lunch.

After making lunch, we ate together as a family. As usual, they always enjoy my food since I'm a really good cook.

"Will. Jerry. You'll be going to this school tomorrow." I said. "You will like it and it's for supernaturals too!"

"Really? I heard that the principal is really mean to her students and that she's a human." Will said, while eating his food.

A human? Why hire a human as a principal in that school? She won't even last long!

"Eh, whatever. I mean, she's defenseless, right? I like to see her how she fights. I bet she'll just be punching and kicking like a baby." They both laughed and so did River.

After lunch, Will and Jerry went outside to play some football while I was on the couch reading a book.

"Are you sure you're okay?"

Yes. I am. But, how is me being happy annoy her? It makes no sense. It's like she knew me before. Whatever. For now, I just hope that Will and Jerry have a great day at school tomorrow.

{The Next Day}

"Whoa... The school is huge." Will said in awe, looking around.

"Now both of you behave. The principal is going to be here any minute." I told them.

I heard a door swung open and my eyes widened. It's her! The woman who bumped into me! She's the principal of this school?!

"Oh great, more people that I don't like," she said, groaning. "What do you guys want?"

I started whispering to River: "That's the woman that bumped into me and made me dropped my food."

"Hey. I'm sorry to be rude but you have to apologize to my wife for not helping her pick up the food when you bumped into her." River told her.

She just stood there with a flat face and sighed. "I don't apologize to people. If you have a problem with that then go away. Also, you grown-ups will be stuck here with me for your own good."

Wait a minute. WHAT?! I didn't even know that we have to go here too! I thought it was just for students only!

"Uhm, I'm so sorry if she's really rude. Hehe. But, yes. Everyone including humans and grown-ups have to go here. Miss Gri-I mean Miss Switch will always be rude to everyone in this school so don't mind her." a really nice woman told us.

"Okay, I understand." I said. "You don't mind if you can show us around in this school, do you?"

"Oh! No I don't! My name is Mia."

"Cut the freaking jibba-jabba and get out of my damn office already!" Miss Switch said, pointing at the door.

We both twitched and went out of her office. I have a bad feeling that this is going to be a bad school year.
