Taeha's POV

"It's been two years," I touched the gravestone. "I miss you so much Jiyeon."

Everyday I visited her but today was different. It was her birthday today. I brought a cake and a gun. I was gonna do it today.

"I have no reason to live if you're not here," I looked down. "I've never known how much I've needed you before."

I laid my head against it before touching it softly. My body was cold but I didn't care, I wanted one thing.

"I'm coming home to you today," I whispered. "I'm never leaving you after Jane."

I put the cake onto the ground in front of me then got a lighter. I lit the candles before smiling at the grave stone.

"Saengil chukhahae," I kissed the stone before blowing out the candles.

I sliced the cake then ate a piece. I got my bag before pulling out the gun. It was a revolver that my dad had given me.

I loaded it with two bullets then spun them before locking it in. I placed it to my head and pulled the trigger.

It clicked making me open my eyes. I sighed then put it back into my bag. I picked up the cake before walking back to my car.

I got in before slamming my door. Every time, I'll never die at this point. I started the car then drove off.

I saw a big tree in the distance so I sped up a little before turning and slamming my car into the tree.

My head hit the steering wheel hard making me pass out after seeing white.

"Taeha," I felt a soft hand on my cheek. "What have you done?"

I opened my eyes slowly seeing Jane. I gasped then jumped up. We hugged making Jane sigh into my neck.

"I missed you so much," I whimpered.

"You can't kill yourself Taeha," she whispered. "I won't allow it."

"I'm here now so I'm dead, right?" I looked into her eyes.

"No," she shook her head. "I'm sending you back."

"Jane," I looked at her sadly. "Why?"

"Because you can't leave the earth like that," she put her hands into my shoulders. "You have a reason to stay."

She roughly pushed making me see black.

"I love you Taeha."

"Take her to the operating room now!" I heard someone say. "You're gonna be okay Ms. Kim."

"Jiyeon," I mumbled. "How could you?"

I felt myself faint as I arrived in another room.

~~TIME SKIP~~

I felt someone touching my arm so I looked up to see a doctor. He smiled at me as he took my blood pressure.

"Hey," he said. "How are you feeling?"

"I'm fine," I started to undo the blood pressure strap. "I don't need your help."

I pulled the IV out of my arm then pulled off the oxygen mask. The doctor tried to stop me but I pushed him away from me.

"Ms. Kim, please," he tried to force me onto the bed but I kicked him in his balls.

"Don't fucking touch me," I went to the the little closet and got dressed.

I left the room hurriedly and ran out of the hospital. My legs carried me to where I wanted despite their tiredness.

"I'll get you for this Jiyeon," I mumbled then arrived at our apartment.

I ran to my room and grabbed a knife. I looked at it before putting it down.

"Your next birthday," I said. "I'll try again on your next one."

I put the knife away then plopped onto the bed. My body aches but I didn't care, I needed to be home because I knew this is where Jane was.

I looked up at the ceiling before feeling a warm feeling engulf my body. I smiled then turned onto my side.

"I love you too Jane," I closed my eyes.

~~TIME SKIP~~

"Saengil chukhahae," I said lighting the candles on Jane's cake. "I love you baby."

I ate a slice then took out a gun. I loaded three bullets into it before spinning them and locking it.  I pressed it to my temple then pulled the trigger.

"You never learn do you?" I heard Jane's voice.

I turned around and smiled. "No," I ran to her and hugged her tight. "Because I need you."

"Well," she sighed. "I can't send you back. You're not breathing anymore."

I smiled then kissed her plump lips. I cupped her cheeks before she put her hands onto my waist.

"I love you Jane," I whispered.

"I love you too Taeha," she whispered back. "And that'll never change."

"Taeha?!" I opened my eyes seeing Jane.

I looked around the room seeing that we were in our apartment. My heart was racing as I looked to Jane.

"What happened?" I looked at her weirdly.

"You were having a nightmare," she moved my hair from my face. "Are you okay?"

"Never better," I tackled her to our bed. "I love you."

"I love you too," she kissed my neck.

"Happy birthday," I said as I looked to the calendar and clock.

"Thank you Tae Tae," she whispered.

I smiled and hugged her tighter, now knowing that she never died at the hands of her friend.

It was all just a dream.
