"Why did you do that?" I asked as those soldiers left.
"To save you. Now let's go to the boat." James said and walked away.
We walked through the forest till the evening fall and rested for sometime near the foot if a hill.
"I climb up there and see which way the river is." I said and started for that hill.
"I come with you." James said and we started to climb. I have got practise of climbing so I climbed real fast. I reached in the plain ground on the top of the hill and waited for James. He arrived shortly after.
"Well you are really fast at climbing." He said.
"We hunt for terrorist in snow covered Himalayan mountains." I said.
"How many terrorist have you killed?" He asked
"More than 200....I think so." I said walking towards the cliff.
"There's the river." I said and James stood beside me. Suddenly the ground beneath us started to shake and we met up with Kong's angry face breathing heavily. We both backed away. I raised my hands in surrender and slowly walked towards him and gently put my hand on his nose, stroking it gently. His face calmed and breathing slowed down.
Suddenly we hear a explosion behind Kong. He turned around screaming and walked towards the explosion.
"Come on we have to go." James said. I nodded and we climbed down the hill.
"Did you find the river?" Mason asked.
"Yes its that way." I said pointing behind me.
"Okay now listen. I want you, San and Houston go to the boat and wait for us till dawn." James said.
"And where are you three going?" I asked.
"To save Kong." He replied.
"Then I will come with you as well." I said.
"No, stay with them." He said.
"Why?" I asked
"Because I don't want you to get killed in hands of Packard. Now go." He said.
With full anger I turned to leave but suddenly he grabbed my right upper arm, spin me around to face him pulling me close to him and kissed me right on my lips. At first I got shocked but then kissed him back wrapping my hands around his neck and he wrapped both his arms around my waist.
We pulled away foreheads touching.
"Now go." He said catching his breathe.
I swallowed a lump in my throat and nodded.
"Stay alive." I said and let him go. I went with San and Houston to the boat.
