"Jiminieee~" Seokjin called out cutely to the boy sitting in front of him, expressionless.
Jimin seemed zoned out, Seokjin did not like it.
"H-hmm?" Jimin snapped back from here he was and looked at Seokjin.
"What happened Jimin? Why do you look so sad and out of the world?" Seokjin looked concerned and at Jimin who frowned.
"I'm not. What gave you an idea about that?" He questioned and Seokjin stood up from his chair making way towards Jimin, seating himself beside the boy.
"I don't know.. you tell me. Everything okay, bro?" Jimin nodded unsurely. He felt restless.
He felt restless since a week and he had no idea why. He knew Seokjin felt the same but could hide his pain with a smile.
He knew nothing of what he felt but he still felt restless. As if something was missing."Jimin. Wanna go out for a while? The teacher's not coming soon, you wanna go to the roof top?" Seokjin rested his hand on Jimin's shoulder who nodded again and gave him a tight smile.
Jimin and Seokjin were... Friends?
It was complicated. They barely talked and when they did, they had no idea about the time and couldn't care less about it. They completed each other's day and still had something missing inside them."Come..? Jimin." Seokjin said again and Jimin followed him.
They reached the roof top and Seokjin opened the door to it, bright sunlight kissing their skin and their eyes squinted.
Seokjin and Jimin walked towards the edge of the top and sat down, backs pressing against the wall."So...?" Seokjin started, unsure if what to say and Jimin looked down at his feet.
"Seokjin." He said and Seokjin's heart stopped at the voice.
"Hm.." He replied, slowly.
"Is it okay if we keep quiet for a while?" He looked at the younger boy and pleaded with his eyes. "I'm not really... You know.. Feeling well." He saw Seokjin smile with his eyes.
"Yeah sure. Cool, cool." Seokjin replied and they went back to being awkward. It was okay with them. They didn't need to force communication, they were okay with the silence and felt comfortable in it.
After about a while, Jimin started feeling a lot more restless.
"Seokjin." he said with urgency in his voice and the latter looked at him in an instant, humming.
" I feel... incomplete." He confessed and breathed heavily.
"Me too.." He saw Seokjin smile.. An obviously fake one, tight and forced.
"What do I do? It has been like this since weeks. It's honestly making me wanna kill myself. Seriously." Jimin muttered with frustration clear in his tone.
"Me too." Jimin looked at the younger in disbelief. He expected more. A comforting or sassy reply. It was disappointing.
"Yeah.." He rested his head back at the wall and closed his eyes.
"Jimin?" Seokjin said and Jimin hummed.
"How do you feel? Right now.." Jimin scoffed.
"What do you mean? I told you I feel restless. Absolutely pathetic right now. Want to kill myself."
"Mhm. Can you kill yourself? Is it easy?" Jimin looked shocked at the boy.
"Sorry?" He choked out.
"I mean, can you kill yourself if you feel like it? Is killing yourself easy? Does it make you less restless, out of pain and h-happy?" Seokjin eyes never left Jimin's. His eyes were tearing up at the moment but he didn't care.
"Seokjin.."
"No, tell me if it is easy to die. I want to know. I want to do so too! But I can't! You know why?! Because it isn't! I'm a coward!" Seokjin was stood up by this moment, his height taller than the small edge, that if he took any step backwards, he would fall in an instant. "It isn't easy and nor does it help! It only makes matters worse Jimin! Stop saying that you want to kill yourself... Trust me you won't be able to do so.."
For a moment Jimin thinks back at how they got up to here and how things ended to where they are now... He mentally face palms as he recalls him sharing his feelings with the boy. He thinks he should have kept quiet.
But he shouldn't have. Seokjin didn't get his feelings. He understood Seokjin was feeling like this but Seokjin was neglecting his. Why should he be quiet?
His mind was a mess, it made him angry, it made him wanting cry and want to scream. But not more than when he saw Seokjin standing at the edge.
"Seokjin!" He started to speak.
"Jimin." Seokjin replied.
"Come here.." Jimin opened his arms wide, gesturing for the young one to come and hug him.
"Where?" Seokjin breathed heavily, peering over his shoulder, looking at the view beneath.
"To me, in my arms, Seokjinnie, dear, please. Get off of there.." Jimin pleaded.
"Jimin. Can you come to me?" Seokjin questioned, boring his darkened eyes in Jimin's warmed one.
"Seokjin."
"Jimin please, come here." Jimin hesitated before coming towards Seokjin and standing beside him.
"How did we end up like this, Seokjin. We were just talking a while ago." Seokjin chuckled, his eyes never stopped leaking the tears.
"I don't know. Maybe we were very frustrated." Jimin smiled and nodded.
"Seokjin?" Jimin held Seokjin's face in his hands and looked in his eyes. Seokjin hummed as he closed them.
"You're beautiful." Jimin hesitated yet again before slowly leaning in to close the gap between their lips. He felt Seokjin grab his shirt tightly and he knew what he was about to do.
So instead of letting Seokjin decide for them, he pulled Seokjin with him, far away from the edge, making them fall in the floor hardly, their lips not detached.
He felt Seokjin protest and trying to pull back, but he held the latter's face in place and his body on top of him.
Even though he didn't know what he did was right, for a moment of his kiss with Seokjin, his restlessness died. And he got an idea what this meant.
He needed Seokjin, his happiness. He needed to make the younger feel the same. He needed to make him feel safe and help him out. They needed each other.
Please forgive me, this was rushed. I'll write another MinJin soon because they make me feel so happy. Please forgive me with this trash I don't even know how it is. I'm not reading it. Ew.
