Mum eventually got home. when she opened the door I snatched the groceries from her hands and put everything were its ment to go. I then skipped happily into the loundroom. "why are you so happy?" said mum.
"oh nothing. only that I saw dad today at school." I told her. Mum went over the moon! she made me sit down and tell her the whole story,
"at school we were doing a math sheet and a man came in. he wanted to borrow me for a second. he told me he shot me so I could become a werepanther" I told her. mum was really excited.
"when I came home I looked in the photo album, and I saw dad pushing you on the swing. when I saw dad, I realised it looked exactly like the man who spoke to me. because he was wearing a black patch." I told her. she was super dooper excited.
mum and I ate tea, really happily. after tea, I sat in the loundroom practicing my shifting. sometimes, in panther form, I would walk up to mum and beg to get a pat. She would give me one sometimes.
