Chapter 6- Far Away

Jeno felt empty. No matter how hard Jaemin or Chaeyeon tried to make him leave his room, he didn't moved a muscle. He is just sitting there, by the window, looking at the view with nothing on his mind besides Minah and how he might have lost her. He felt angry. Angry at his parents for doing something that cruel and threatening a young princess who lost her parents because of them. He just couldn't belive at what happend at the dinner.

Jaemin enters Jeno's room and sigh at the sight. He was at the same position as yesterday, the only change in him is the clothes " thank God he took a shower". He walks closer to his friend and sit down beside him.
- You should talk to her, you know?
Jeno look at his friend
- Talk to who?
-Minah.
Jeno looks down. He was afraid that if he goes there, she will be angry at him and just push him away. He really liked her. God, he loves her. He don't know how, but after their date, he wanted to be by her side always, he wanted to hold her and tell her that everything is okay. The problem is, nothing is okay.

Taehyung and Jin are at Minah's room, sitting down on the left side of her bed. On the right side, the princess was laying down on her side, dry tears on her cheeks and a cold facade on. She didn't say anything since she came back from dinner. Namjoom and Yoongi were at a  reunion with the King and Queen. They were discussing ways of protecting their kingdom. They are going to put more knights all around the place. Guards are going to walk around the castle and village to assure the security of the population.

Jin looks at Taehyung and sighs. They were trying to talk to her, but she wouldn't say a word. Tae tried again:
- Look, I know that everything sucks right now, but you can't ignore us forever. We want you to be okay.
Jin continues.
- We are going to stay here for a while. So don't you dare ignore us, I need you to listen to my jokes and laugh like you always do.
- I don't even know how you laugh at his jokes, they are awful.
Minah smiles.
- They are not bad, they are actually funny.
The Kim's smiles and look at each other. They did it.
 
Yoongi comes in with Namjoon. They look very serious. The older begin speaking:
- Our security will be more forced from now on. We'll be ready for whatever happens.
Minah will not leave this castle until everything is settled down.
Minah nodded, she didn't wanted to leave anyways. All she wanted was to forget everything, forget him.
Yoongi looks at his cousin.
- Minah, you-
- I know, I won't see or talk to him. Don't worry. I don't want to anyway.
They all look at her. Namjoom sighs and pulls his brothers out of the room. Yoongi gives a kiss to Minah's forehead and leaves as well.
The princess stands up and walks to the window. She has no idea how to forget Jeno. She looks at the window and says:
- I guess we weren't meant to be.
Her heart aches. She knew it's wasn't his fault, but she couldn't help blame him a little. He was a Lee afterall.
She realises that Soobin wasn't at the dinner. "Of couse he would leave me for her".
Minah changes her clothes and goes to bed. She was exhausted.

Two days have passed, and Minah had no news of Soobin. She was starting to get worried. Jin conforted her, saying that young couples want more time together, and that made Minah look down, sad.
"But I need him..."

Jeno was a mess. He wanted to see Minah so badly. He tried going to her castle, but there was guards everywhere. He was giving up already.
" I guess we weren't meant to be".

Taehyung was looking for Soobin when he found him at his office, working on some new cures.
- Yo!!! Where were you these days??!
Soobin looked at Tae awkwardly.
-um... I spent the night at Yeri's and then I went straight to work.
- Didn't you forget something??
Soobin thought for a second, and then realisation came in. His eyes were huge.
- Minah!!!
He went running to the princess rom after that.
Taehyung chuckled.
-Teenagers....
On the way to Minah's room, Soobin found himself bumping at the princess.
- Minnie-
- Save it.
She didn't even looked at him. She just walked away.
He reached her.
- I'm sorry, really. I was with Yeri and-
Minah abruptly turned around.
- Of course you were with her. It must be your new hobby, leaving me alone and going to her... I shouldn't have introduced you two.
Soobin looked at her in confusion.
-It's about me and her then? I didn't know that our happiness made you angry, my apologies.
He replied, sarcasm evident in his voice.
- Of couse is not your happiness!! I'm happy for you, truly. But what you have right now, your girlfriend,  your parents, your life, makes me feel so alone that i wanna die.
Soobin was shocked. He didn't knew his best friend felt like that. He thought she was happy with Yoongi and Jeno. " The dinner must've been bad."
He watched her walk away, pain in his heart.

Namjoon was walking down the garden when he saw Minah sitting down on a bench close to the flowers. He saw her tear stained cheeks and imidiatly felt worried. He walked up to her:
- Hey little one, whats wrong?
He sat down beside her.
- Just life that sucks.
- Don't say that love, I'm sure everything will get better.
Minah sighed.
- I don't think so. Everything is a mess! My best friend left me alone to be with his girlfriend, i met the killers of my parents, who threatened me, by the way. And to finish, we might me going on another war.
Namjoon looked at the horizon. He felt sorry for the girl, she has been through so much in her life.
- Well, If you are worried about our safety, our army is the best out there. I will not let the King touch you, and I'm sure that the others won't as well.
Minah rested her head on his shoulder, grabbing his hand on the process.
- I'm sure Soobin didn't meant to leave you alone. He is in love, a feeling that can blind him sometimes. He didn't see your worst moments, but he regrets it. He wants to be by your side again. Of course you are hurt. You have the right to be. But let him be by your side, he will make things right again.
Minah was glad that she had Namjoon by her side, and she was also glad he didn't mentioned Jeno.
It was really hard trying to forget him, her heart wouldn't let her.
Both of them enjoyed a nice talk for the rest of the evening.

Jeno was walking down the corridors when he heard noises from his dad's office. He went closer and hid behind the door, trying to listen to the conversation.
- We must start the attack from the sides, the front and back are full with guards.
It was his fathers voice. " An attack?"
-  A 1/3 of our army are going to the left side, and the other 2/3 are going with me in the right side. It's where the princess and the prince sleeps. We will kill them first, then move on to the King and Queen. If someone tries to get in your way, don't hesitate to kill.
Jeno widens his eyes. His father was planning a attack on Minah's family, and was planning to kill her. He ran away as quickly as possible, he needed to find Jaemin. He hill ask his friends help to try to find a way to get into Amethyst's castle and warn them.
He needed to save her.
