She manoeuvred her way through all the sweaty bodies that were spread all over the floor, in desperate need of a drink. She let out a small yelp as someone crashed into her side.

"Fuckin' prick" she muttered, scowling towards him as she made her way to the bar.

"Something strong and please, make it fast" she said to the bartender as she plonked in the nearest available stool.

"Here you go, that'll be $11" he said, sliding the alcohol across the bar.

She pulled notes from her pocket and stuffed them into his hand, giving him a small smile before bringing the liquid to her lips. She felt the burn of the alcohol run down her throat giving her a feeling of satisfaction.

"You know you're about the only girl I've seen tonight here down a glass of Jack Daniels faster than I can say hello" A voice from behind her shouted, just becoming audible over the loud thud of the music.

"Ugh, you!" She scoffed, her eyes travelling up and down his body.

"You're the asshole that ran into me before" she groaned, clicking her fingers to catch the bartenders attention once more.

"I do have a name you know" he scoffed, a small smirk tugging at his lips. "Can I get another one" she asked, pointing down to her glass. The bartender nodded before went back to pouring another person's drink.

"What's your name?" He whispered as he leant into next to her ear.

"Trouble" she smiled, looking up at him.

"Well Trouble...I'm Ashton and I would like to pay for your drink" he said, pulling his wallet from his back pocket, taking a seat beside her.

"You don't have to" she mumbled, tracing the rim of her glass with the tip of her index finger.

"I insist pretty girls should be bought at least one drink" he said, handing the bartender some money.

"I'll pay for that, and keep the change" The bartender nodded and went over to tend another customer.

She downed her drink as fast as she could; she was ready to have some fun. She looked at Ashton and flicked her eyes over to the dance floor.

"Come on Trouble, let's go dance" He said, extending a hand out for her to grab on. She accepted and followed as he led her into the centre of the floor.

"So you like to dance?" He asked, as he placed one hand on her hip.

"I guess you could say that" she said pulling herself closer to him, biting down on her lip.

"You're really pretty you know that?" he asked, closing the gap between their bodies as the both moved in sync.

"I really like your cobain shirt" she shouted, moving up against him awkwardly and slight out of beat of the music.

He smiled at her, spinning her around like an idiot.

"I can't dance" she admitted, letting out a small giggle.

"It's okay, neither can I" he replied, chuckling loudly.

The night dragged on, the music became louder as the two of them continued to drink and dance awfully around the club.

"Want to get out of here?" He whispered, nipping and sucking behind her ear softly.

"Sure" she gasped, taking his hand in hers.

They walked out onto the street, both trying to hail a cab at two in the morning.

"This is fucking useless" she huffed, scuffing her shoe across the pavement.

"God, you're so whiny" Ashton teased, letting out a small chuckle.

A cab finally stopped a couple of meters in front of them.

"Let's make a run for it before someone comes and steals it" Ashton shouted, dragging her along behind him.

They bailed into the cab, Ashton mumbling an address to the cab driver.

"Clare" she mumbled softly, leaning against Ashton's shoulder.

"Clare? What's Clare?" He asked, tracing circles on her exposed shoulder.

Clare found her eyelids getting heavy as she yawned, rubbing her eyes softly.

"My name's Clare" she mumbled once more before falling asleep on Ashton.

Ashton paid the cab driver before carrying Clare inside his house, he lived in a small flat just outside of the main part of town. He placed her onto the couch in the living room, walking into his room.

He flicked the lights on and tugged the sheets back before going back and picking up Clare. He carried Clare down the hallway and into a large room, placing her down in the bed.

He picked up the sheet and placed it over her small petite body before walking back to the doorframe.

"Goodnight Clare" he whispered, walking out and taking the couch.
