The Group Meeting

"Oh uh sure" Deacon said with a mouth full of mashed potatoes, as he swallowed he told them, "my name is Deacon Evenhell, i only got here recently after i fell." The three other people at the table stared at him, "what do you mean fell? Are you a fallen angel? The women said with a quick slight angry voice. "Ah uh oh no ma'am, i'm a human i think i fell here when a hole opened up in my church." he quickly said while standing up straight. "Hmmm." she hummed while staring at deacon eyeing him up and down. "Ah i'm sorry about her she's just well, to uptight is what i'd say, as for introductory purposes Her name is General Erica Equinox" Luis notified him, "She runs one of the best mercenary armies in the circles, if you have a city or kingdom to take care of she's the person to talk to." he said while handing her the bowl of flan. "Finally", she said as she took a bite and smiled with the spoon in her mouth. "Ah uh that's um surprising." deacon said as he took another bite of his food. "Surprising?" she said as she stared at Deacon. "Ah oh um i just meant that it was really cool and i didn't expect someone like you to be here at a uh party that Braxton set up, honestly i don't even know what i'm doing here, i only got here yesterday and im eating as if nothing happened." deacon said as he looked down at his food. "Erica leave the poor boy alone you're making him feel bad about himself," the man who was in his book the whole time said after he closed his book up. "My name is Andreas, you can call me Adre, now you said you only got here yesterday?" Ah uh yes sir," Deacon replied before going to take another bite. "That's odd cause we were informed you got here about a week ago, hm it did seem that you had a bit of Valerian pollen on you, the stuff knocks people out for quite a while down here," Andre informed Deacon, "here let me take a look at you," he told Deacon while getting up, as he reached out a glow of green and blue covered Deacons face, although it didn't hurt it gave deacon a tingly sensation on his face where he was hovering the light. Out of the corner of his eye Deacon saw Braxton reach out and grab Andre's hand. "What do you think you're doing to the honored guest Andreas, you know there's no magic permitted here at my parties even a hermit like you should know this." Braxton demanded, as he pulled his hand away Andre informed "i apologize my interest just peaked me is all, i didn't mean to upset you sir Braxton,". As he looked down Adre put his hands in his lap. With the three in white and blue staring at Braxton he explained,"now i understand that you want to take Deacon here to your School principal Luis, however you must know that he will be under my care until he learns the basics of this world, you remember he is human, and when he is there in school if anything where to happen to him, i will make sure you know what i'm able to do." He stared at Luis and Erica with the black empty holes of his mask, "Now the four of us shall talk schooling pricing and other things to prepare him, as you know i shall be his guardian and you will answer to me if anything where to happen." He said with a harsh undertone. Deacon just kept looking around at the people of the table, Erica look angry with Braxton staring at him with her blood red eyes, and Luis was Staring at him with wrinkles going around his nose. Deacon looked back down at his food with both hands in his lap, "what do you mean school?" Deacon asked with a quiet voice, "Oh i forgot to tell you, since you are here and you don't know and cannot protect yourself i have taken it upon me to send you to school and before that teach you the basics of our realms so you won't be lost. Now i meant to tell you this but you were asleep for so long i couldn't bear to wake you up. Now why don't you go get some desert or more food while the rest of us grown ups talk business." he said to Deacon with a calm voice. "No sir i think i'll go to my room, I've lost my appetite and i'm quite tired, i think i may go to bed." Deacon replied while getting up from the table. "Ah well i'll notify the maids to guide you back to your room," Braxton told Deacon, "Yes sir, good meeting you guys." deacon said while doing a quick bow to the group. "See you later," Luis said while waving goodbye. As Deacon walked back to his rooms with the same maids from earlier of brushed them away saying he can get prepared for bed, he used the bathroom that was across from his room to be ready to sleep, and with him thinking about the part, the monsters, the people, the way Braxton seemed to think of him as a son, he quickly fell asleep."
