You willed yourself to stop disliking Lila. You really tried, but her attitude just makes your day turn sour real quick.

Quite suspicious when a girl suddenly transfers in your school just when the school is nearing the end of the year.

But when she presented an excuse, everyone easily believed her. Said that she was travelling with her mother because of her work and all that, actually you didn't give a damn.

The whole week, she was just plain annoying with her obvious crush on a certain boy in your class.

You didn't warn Adrien. Of course he would know about Lila. She made herself famous after all.

Once, she made herself sit beside Adrien where Nino usually sat. She said that she can't hear the teacher very well. It made your blood boil, but being the selfless person that you are, you switch places with Nino just as he was walking towards the back. He thanked you before going to sit besides Alya.

Of course, it was okay, being their friend and all. You can see the board from the top.

But what you didn't like was Lila's petty excuse just to sit next to Adrien. You almost wished you were that desperate to be with your crush.

Almost.

But the next few days was full of happiness. Your heart would flutter every time you would hear his laugh. He was laughing at your jokes that you feel your pride swelling because someone laughed at your joke!! And it was your crush!!

Then with your comebacks he was a hundred percent on-board with what you're always saying. Like everytime you're roasting Kim he'd be screaming 'ooh's and 'whooAaa!' every freaking time.

You would deal with it, up to the point where you'd let him lead you to his created handshake. It was a totally different one with Nino and you were honoured to have his hand hold your own to guide through his choreo.

There were also days when Alya or Marinette would approach you and ask about the confession like:

"When are you gonna do it?"

"What are you going to do?"

You would answer them with a shrug or a shake of your head. You weren't sure yourself. Will you do it? If so, when?

Then, your insecurities and anxieties would flood inside your mind, filling it with different scenarios and outcomes. You would imagine that he would avoid you after you confess to him, one part also suggests that he would hate you and be with Lila just because he hates you. One part implies that you won't do it all because you are a complete wimp, an utter failure and Lila would totally race you to the finish line.

You shook your head. You won't let yourself lose. You agreed to yourself that you would confess to him at the 29th day of April. Just as the school ends at May the 1st. Today is twenty-five days before the 29th.

You still have plenty of time.

It was a sentimental night. Just two hours before the next morning. No school tomorrow and you were just chilling, thinking about the homework you just breezed through.

While trying to fall asleep, a sudden ding from your phone cut your line of concentration. A message from Adrien popped up as you raised an eyebrow. The first message in the month of April.

Adrien:
ah dude
i am getting nervous.
i just
i can't take it anymore

What? The last time you saw him he was smiling and okay. What happened? Your heart was sent into panic mode without warning and you did not like it. Did something happen?
