Ever since Nova asked me out, life at the Dream Wave has been great. The two of us became so close in just a few weeks. We went on our first date a week after he asked me out. We only went to the cafe, but it was still special. We even had a few sleepovers, he came over to Cari and I's room and I slept over his room. Nothing happened, just a lot of cuddling. We had our first kiss the Friday night of Halloween weekend at the schools Monster Mash. Right outside the gym where we started dating. I've never felt so happier. Nova, he's special. And even though Nova and I are dating, that hasn't changed a thing with Cari. She's actually our biggest supporter. The three of us are still so close and we get along so well.
Dove and Ash hasn't spoken to us since the day of the fight. Sure, we get a few dirty looks here and there but other than that, all is well. We are the school's hashtag power couple. Never heard of that before but basically everyone loves us together.
Anyways, it was November 27th, the day before thanksgiving. Dream Wave Academy was on holiday break and most students were returning home to their families. We were all packed up and waiting for the driver my dad sent.
"I'm so excited to go home!" Cari exclaimed.
"I can't wait to meet your dad!" Nova said.
"Really? Me too!" I said.
"Yea, I have a lot of questions I want to ask him," he replied.
I smiled and nodded. A few minutes later our driver arrived.
"Felix! Great seeing you again," I cheered putting my bag in the trunk.
"Good seeing you too, Aria. Your father and Xenon misses you. They talk about you everyday!" Said Felix.
"Aww that's so sweet," I smiled.
"So where am I taking these two?" Felix asked. He smiled and shook Nova and Cari's hand.
"We're stopping by at Aria's first," said Cari.
"Sounds good, everyone pile in and buckle up," Felix said after opening the doors and walking to the drivers seat.

"Here we are, I will have the guard come down to bring your bags in," said Felix.
"Thank you!" The three of us said together as we made our way to my home. I opened the door and we stepped inside. There was music playing coming from my dad's room.
"Hello! Anyone home?" I yelled. The music stopped.
"Wow, I can't believe you live here," Nova said.
"I know! This is beautiful!" Cari exclaimed.
"Thanks!" I replied. After a few moments my dad and Xenon came down the stairs.
"Aria!" They yelled. The three of us had a group hug.
"You brought visitors!" Xenon cheered.
"Yes, this is my best friend Cari and this is Nova, my boyfriend," I said.
Xenon and my dad both looked at each other.
"Boyfriend?" asked my dad folding his arms walking up to Nova.
"Hi, sir. It's nice to finally meet you," said Nova reaching out to shake my dad's hand.
"How long have you two been seeing each other?" Asked my dad.
"Almost three months," I said.
"Eighty-three days," said Nova.
My dad stared at Nova for a minute before smiling and finally shaking his hand.
"Nova is gonna be staying with us for the week," I said.
My dad turned to me with a surprised look.
"Why am I just now hearing this?" He asked.
"Dad, he has no where to go," I explained.
"My dad and brother were sent to the Light Haven," said Nova.
The room went silent.
"Fair enough," said my dad before walking towards the dining room. "Dinner will be served in five. Do not be late."
I nodded.
Nova, Car, Xenon and I watched my dad leave the room.
"I thought he would be a little more eager to see me, I guess not," I mumbled.
"Don't worry Aria. You're dad has just been very busy. He's the ruler of the city, you know. Give him some time to unwind," Xenon said holding my shoulder.
I smiled, "Thanks."
"No problem," she replied. "I'm gonna be in the dining room with your father. We're having lasagna tonight."
"Okay, we'll be right back! Come on guys," I said leading Nova and Cari to my room.

"Damn! Your room is bigger than the suites!" Cari yelled.
"I know," I chuckled. "Perks of being the king's daughter, I guess?"
I jumped into my bed. "Oh, I've missed this bed!"
"So what's the plan for this week?" asked Cari.
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"When are you guys going back to Dream Wave?" Cari asked.
"Aren't we out for a week?" I asked.
"It's optional," said Cari.
"I'll probably stay the full week," I said.
Cari nodded. "I'm going back on Monday so I'll just stay with Val."
"What did you want to do Nova?" I asked.
"Spend as much time with you as possible," he said wrapping his arms around my waist. I turned my head.
"You don't have to turn your head, I know you're blushing," he said turning my face back towards him by my chin. He leaned his face down and kissed me. 
"Is this what you guys plan to do for a week?" Cari cringed.
Nova and I smiled.
"Ugh, I love you guys," Cari laughed.
I looked at my phone. "We should start heading down for dinner. My dad is is really strict about being on time," I said.
"Really?" Nova asked sarcastically.
