(Y/N) headed home and straight into the shower. Hopefully her mom wouldn't notice. " Hey, (Y/N), you've got some mail from your dad on the table." your mom called out from her bedroom. "Thanks mom!" Your response was quick, but thankful for the information. Picking up the letter you read it on the way to the hot shower waiting on you upstairs. The letter read,
"Dear daughter,
I'm doing just fine. You should see the scientific research I'm studying over, it's crazy. Anyways, hope you and mom are doing well. I'll be home as soon as possible.
All my love, dad."
" Thank goodness he's okay. I know that research and science can't be easy." (Y/N) placed the letter on the counter by the sink. Turning on the warm water, she hopped in the shower. The steam made her muscles relax like she never thought possible, the soap was always a refreshing change of smell compared to the sewer she had just came out of.
" Night mom. " you called out making sure your mom heard from the distance that separating your rooms. " Night, sweetheart, love you. " your mom hollered back. " Raph, Leo, Mikey, and Donnie. What interesting mutants. I would love to hang with them more. " you thought inside your fangirl mind as you drifted off to sleep.
