Chapter Fourteen

Raph looks at me completely shocked, suddenly his eyes turn soft and caring as he caresses my face in his hands. " You're still the same beautiful girl that I adore. Don't you ever forget that." He smiles and softly places a kiss on my forehead. He then leaves without another word, so Donnie could finish running his tests or if he was done to read the results. " Okay, (Y/N), I ran the final test when you blacked out last time due to my medicine. It seems you're a complete mutant and no longer human although some mutants can't speak like us, so you're very lucky to be one who can." Donatello says, sliding back and forth in a doctor-like chair from test to test to see what the data uncovers. " Do the others... know about what happened? I don't want them as shocked as Raphael was earlier. " Yes, hun, they know. Just rest up we are just glad you're okay. Now, rest up doll." He smiles at me, warmly and concerned, bringing me into a close hug, he whispers. " Don't you dare hurt my brother... or you'll be sorry (Y/N). Well! Good night!" He says the last words quite cheerfully but the stern tone still remained.

Time Skip: Midnight

It was midnight and although everyone was in bed, I saw it as a perfect opportunity to get some closure, even if a certain turtle had to bring it to me, Raphael... I crept out of the lab after the restrains were tore from the my skin. The bruise from the needle skin imbedded in my skin, it hurt like hell. " Ahhh!" I let out a scream that wasn't as quite as I hoped it to be. I expected the whole household to come running in, but nothing. It was dead silence. Could something be wrong? Or maybe everyone is - my thoughts were interrupted by arms snaking around my waist someone or some turtle holding me close. I knew it could only be Raphael Hamato.

" Well, well, why are you up so late (Y/N) you come to see me?, I gasp as my heart starts racing, it looks like I bet you to it. I am already here. What's a matter, sweetheart?" He comes around in front of me, frowning. " Look, Raphael, I am scared of my new form. I put all of you in danger because I wanted to find the adventure. I let out a long sigh and was soon being held by the strong turtle, Raph. " Don't you EVER scare me like that again, baby." I was so worried about you, and Hell I am so damn glad you're okay." He pulls away and kisses my lips softly. " I know this is sudden, but can I stay with you tonight? I am so scared, Raphael." I looked down, embarrassed at what I just said out loud. " Yes, angel eyes, anytime you need me I am here. I will always be your hero. Promise."

Time Skip: Raphael's Room

The night had seemed like it was never going to end. I ended up sleeping in Raph's room due to my shyness and nervous spells of my new body. " Still awake?" the red masked turtle asked, sleepily. " Yeah, I can't sleep... can I sleep with you instead of this sleeping bag?" Raph's face turned so red it could be seen in the darkness of his room, of course he wanted to say yes. " Sure, what kind of guy would I be if I didn't want to comfort you, sweetie?" He questions me, but I was already clinging to him before he could finish. I felt safe here... warm and most importantly wanted.
