What do you say to someone you never said goodbye to? 'Hey it's been awhile. We should catch up. By the way I'm sorry for never telling you that I almost died and that I had to leave before I actually did die.'
Yep I don't see that going over so well.
I kept my eyes on Dean. His eyes were busy taking in every inch of my body as if committing them to memory.
"Do you two know each other Abrielle?" Jordon asked. It didn't go unnoticed that he had been silent up until now.
Dean scrunched his brows together when he heard that name. He looked at me like I grew a second head.
"Yes actually."
Think Abrielle think!
"It's so good to see you again Dean. I think the last time I saw you we were traveling with our parents in Paris."
I begged Dean with my eyes to go along with it. I wouldn't blame him if he didn't. I left him and never looked back. He was the only one who was ever there for me before. Other than my dad of course.
Dean smiled at me and some of my nerves faded.
"Damn Abrielle. Look at you! It's been years. When did you turn into a woman? You look beautiful." He walked up to me and kissed me on the cheek.
"Oh just beautiful? What happened to gorgeous Goddess?" I teased.
"You're right. You've always been beautiful now your gorgeous." My stomach fluttered at how serious he looked.
I turned around the the Elite group and noticed half of them were tense.
"Have you all met my good friend Dean?" I asked them.
"Ouch friend zoned. That hurt." I playfully slapped his arm and grinned up at him.
"Oh we've met your friend alright." Damon stayed. "Actually he used to be our friend as well. That was before he turned on us and left our group. He doesn't really talk to us much."
"Oh really what happened?" I faked innocence.
"Don't worry about it. It was in the past. No reason to bring it back up now. Right guys?" Jordon said giving each of them a knowing look.
"Oh okay. If you guys will excuse me then I'd like to catch up with Dean." I looked up at him for the last part of my sentence.
"Fine by me. Trust me I didn't wanna be here anyway."
"Alright lets go. See you guys." I looked over at Damon. "I'll let you know if I'm free tomorrow."
"Great. Talk to you later Abrielle."
As we walked away I'm glad I got to hear Brittney words.
"Did she call me a charity?" The group laughed.
Yes, yes I did.
"So are you going to tell me what's going on or are you going to make me guess?"
"I'll tell you back at home. I'm exhausted from putting a smile on my face. Take me home?"
He smiled at me before kissing my forehead. "Of course."
I took one last glance over my shoulder jut in time to see Jordon staring me down. His stare gave me shivers, but I just smiled at him and waved.
He might be on to me. That's okay because out of all of them he's the worst. He's going to wish I died that day. Jordon you're a dead man walking.

We made it to the house a half hour later. It took more time due to our impromptu stop at the frozen yogurt shop.
Dean like the gentleman he is helped me out of the car and walked me up to the house. We walked to the foyer and sat to talk. I sent all the servant away for the night so that we'd be alone and without interruptions.
"So are you going to keep stalling or are you going to put your yogurt down and tell me what's going on?"
I sighed putting my yogurt on the coffee table in front of us. "Ugh where do I even begin?"
"How about where the hell you disappeared to two years ago, and why the hell you never told me you were leaving!?" He sounded pissed.
Well I mean he does have the right to be mad. You did fuck up by not telling him anything.
"Dean I'm sorry." I sighed when he just looked at me to continue. "Okay from the beginning then. All I can say right now is that I almost died..." I raised my hand to stop him from interrupting me. "I'm not ready to explain more than that. Just know that my health was on the line so my dad took me out of state. We moved back into our old house in Winter Valley. I'm so sorry I didn't contact you. I didn't contact anyone. I know I should have you were always there for me and I'm just so sorry Dean." I tried to stop my tears from falling, but it was no use.
Dean wrapped me up in his arms and I cried against his chest. I missed him. I missed him so much and I didn't even realize it.
"It's going to be okay Arielle."
I pulled away from him and stared into his eyes.
"You can't call me Arielle in public Dean. No one can know that's who I really am. Especially not the Elite Six. Promise me you'll keep my secret!"
"Why are you going by a different name. You need to tell me the whole story if you want me to be able to help you. I need to know everything."
I took a deep breath through my nose and slowly released it out my mouth.
"I'm going to get my revenge. None of the Elite know who Abrielle Kennedy is. They only know she's one of the richest people in the world." I rolled my eyes at that. I wouldn't mind not being rich. "Each of the Elite has tormented me in multiple ways. It's time for me to show them what it's like. Step one is complete thanks to my father."
"And what is step one?" His voice wasn't accusing at all. He knew what they did to me. At least everything but the last. He always told me they deserved karma. Well I'm just here to speed up the process.
"Get a hold in each of their companies of course." I smiled.
He looked unbelievably shocked. "You have a hold in each of their companies?"
"All of them except Damon's. When I turn twenty I'll have 50% of his company. Unless he marries before then it's mine. You're looking at a Co-CEO of five different companies. Which makes me the richest nineteen year old alive."
"How do you have five? The twins share a company and if you don't have Damon's..." he trailed off for a second before his face lit up. "No fucking way. You're partner in Kennedy Global!!"
"Yea I know. Shocking right?"
"That's great news Arielle."
The front door opened up and I could see my dad walking in alone from my spot on the couch in the foyer.
"Hey dad."
"Hi Mr. Kennedy."
My dads footsteps lead him into the foyer with us.
"Hello Mr. Hale. It's good to see you again. How's your father doing?"
"Busy as usual. It's nice to see you to."
"I'm sure you two have a lot to catch up on. I'll be in my study. Night sweetie." He leaned down to kiss my forehead before walking off.
A few silent moments passed before Dean broke it.
"So what now?"
I looked at him with an evil grin. "Now you tell me everything that's happened with the Elite in the last two years."
