Prologue

Reshlie and Xavier met in a caféteria, Reshlie was in 9th grade at that time and she was making a powerpoint presentation in there. Xavier is a working student, he wants to work for his future. Reshlie was waiting for her order, a piece of cake and a warm coffee. Xavier, a clumsy waiter, he accidentally spilled Reshlie's coffee DIRECTLY to her. "Ay lintek!" Said Reshlie and stood up directly "Pasensiya na ho ma'am! H-hindi ko ho talaga sinadya!" Xavier apologized. Reshlie thinked that it was a love at first sight! "Uhh- It's fine kuya" she said.  She sat down and continued her work.

"Ma'am... Jogging pants ho at damit, you're so wet" Xavier said "It's fine kuya" Reshlie said and continued. "Ma'am... You must change" Xavier insisted "You sure?" Reshlie asked and Xavier nodded "Ibabalik ko nalang pagnalabhan ko na'to" Reshlie said "N-no need ma'am! Marami naman ho akong ganyan. Sa iyo na ho 'yan" Xavier said and Reshlie smiled.

Days had passed... "Hi ma'am" Xavier greeted and Reshlie was shocked "Uh... Hello! Baka gusto mong kunin yung inilahad mo, I'm pretty sure you still want to wear it" Reshlie said "Ma'am, I said you can have it, by the way, I'm James Xavier Legazpi" Xavier introduced and handling his hand to shakehands with Reshlie "Reshlie Elaiza Saavedra... Call me Reshlie" Reshlie said and they handshaked.

Because they were friends, they go and eat snacks together, talk with friends, sometimes Xavier even go home with Reshlie.

A very shocking time was when Xavier wants to court Reshlie but because Reshlie was still not ready, She said that Xavier needs to wait.

One day... "Uhm Resh?" Xavier said "Yeps?" Reshlie asked "I'm still courting you, well, matagal tagal na diba? Are you able to answer my question?" Xavier asked shyly "Uhhh... Hm... Well you didn't give up. I was happy na hindi ka nagsawa about my attitude. So... Maybe... It's a yes?" Reshlie said. They are officially dating, they were happy to be with each other. "Love, I promise you that you're the person I'm going to marry and I will never break up with you" Xavier promised.

Reshlie made the WORST thing... Introducing Xavier to her bestfriend Sandra. For almost 3 years, they were happy together but Xavier changed... UNEXPECTEDLY. He acted strange... Reshlie never saw Xavier like that. He doesn't really have much time with Reshlie and Reshlie was shocked because Xavier gives a lot of time to her. She always tell herself that her boyfriend was just busy at the café but when she got there... He wasn't even working.

She was shocked aswell that her bestfriend doesn't want to go with her. Rumors were spreading that Xavier was dating Sandra but Reshlie didn't mind them because she knew how Xavier loves him and she knew that Sandra won't get or OWN Xavier. Other people would tell her "Just expect the unexpected Resh" but she didn't listen to her. The both of them meet each other so often so Reshlie was suspicious. She noticed that when they had dates, Xavier was always using his phone... TEXTING "Love?" The curious Reshlie asked "Yes Love?" Xavier asked while typing "Sino yang tinetextan mo?" She asked "Friends" Xavier answered.

(Call)

"Love?" Reshlie asked "Not now! I'm working" Xavier said and ended the call. Xavier didn't know that she was at the café. She said to herself that "Maybe he found a better job and hid it from me... Baka nagiipon para magdate kami".

Reshlie was sad... One day, they had class. Xavier missed her girlfriend so he said that he wanted to meet up at 4:30 inside the gymnasium. Reshlie was there at 4:00 pm inside the backstage. She was shocked... Sandra was with Xavier "Baka bestfriend na sila-" she haven't finished saying the whole sentence because Sandra interupted "Malapit na tayong mag 1 year Xavierpie!" She exclaimed "Yeah, I know" Xavier said with a big smile. Reshlie cried "How dare they!" She said inside her mind "Why aren't you breaking up with Reshlie? You said na makipaghiwalay ka na sa kanya?" Sandra said "I am going to do that! Nakipagmeet up ako sa kanya at 4:30!" Xavier said.

"It's almost 4:30 Sandrapie! Baka maabutan ka pa niya" Xavier said "Ok bye!" Sandra said and kissed Xavier in the lips "Good thing never ko na siyang nahalikan ulit, how can I? He's the one who doesn't want to" Reshlie murmured.

It was 4:55 and Xavier was shocked that Reshlie was late. Reshlie was still inside the backstage. Xavier called her and texted her but Reshlie didn't answer "Reshlie sumagot ka!" Xavier shouted. "X-xavier!" Reshlie greeted and smiled fakely "Hey Love!" Xavier greeted back "I wanna ask you something... I think you will feel conscience. Do you really love me? Are you cheating?" Reshlie asked "I-i love you! W-why would I cheat?" Xavier said "I love you too Love, well, you promised me not to break up with me right? You told me I'm the person you're going to marry right?" Reshlie asked and started crying "Love-" "Love! Do you still love me?" Reshlie asked "Reshlie... I wanna break up with you" Xavier said... Emotionless "Bu-" "Sorry" Xavier interrupted. "You'll regret what you've done Xavier" Reshlie said "Then I will! I don't care Reshlie! I don't care about you" Xavier said even if what his heart was saying was "I'm sorry Reshlie... We had a valid reason to do that but It was still my fault".  "Yung efforts mo... Sinayang mo lang... I thought-" "I'm sorry Reshlie... But it's over" Xavier interrupted.
