Thea

I awake to see sunlight streaming through my curtains. I start to roll over, but something stops me. Looking down, I see the sheets have been kicked all the way to the foot baord and a certain Wolf Boy is still in my bed. He said he would leave once I fell asleep!

He has a leg draped over mine and his arms wrapped tightly around my middle. His head lays against my chest with his hair tickling my chin and his jaw resting just above my sports bra. It's like I'm his personal teddy bear.

Just then, my door opens to reveal my mother, clad in her yoga pants and designer blouse, a green smoothie in hand. Her mouth drops open as the smoothie falls from her grasp.

Abort! Abort! Abort!

"Mom, I can explain," I say as I harshly shake Logan's shoulders. She continues to stare.

Beside me, Logan stirs slightly. A look of confusion crosses his face before he starts to look down. I slap his shoulder and he picks his head back up, albeit with a blush from the view he just had.

"Hmm? Hi mate," he says, still looking a bit dazed, but smiling nonetheless.

Mom snaps out of her trance. "Thea Allen, you are in SO much trouble!" She shouts. At the sound of her loud voice, Logan burrows his head back under my neck, trying to go back to sleep. He should be running away right now!

"You let go of him right this instant!" Mom yells.

"I can't, Mom. He went let go!" I say. It's true, I have been trying to escape his hold, but with no luck.

"DAVID!" She screams. "Our daughter slept with a man! IN OUR HOUSE!"

"Make it stop..." Logan mumbles. I slap the back of his head, earning a tired groan in response.

Dad finally stumbles up the stairs and takes in the scene before him. "You! Out!" He yells at Logan who is finally becoming aware of the situation at hand. His eyes peak open to lock with my Dad's murderous ones. He scrambles off of me and jumps off the bed, landing on the floor in a heap. If my parents weren't so angry, I would have laughed at him.

"Listen, I can explain. This isn't what it looks like," Logan rushes out while standing up and holding his hands out in a sign of surrender.

My dad points his finger at the door and gestures for Logan to leave. I stand up as well and hold onto Logan's wrist to keep him from leaving.

"There is something we need to tell you," I say. Logan looks at me before nodding his head in agreament. Now is the time to tell them.

"What? That you're pregnant and he is the father?" My mom shouts with malice.

"No! We--" I start.

"Are you trying to lie to me? You have probably been sleeping with this boy for months now," she says, crossing her arms in disdain.

"How dare you accuse her!" Logan suddenly shouts. "It was my fault. Told her I would stay until she was asleep, but I didn't. If you want to blame someone, blame me, not her." I look up at him and smile. He didn't have to defend me. I was the one who asked him to stay.

"Mom, Dad, neither of us have had sex. Now, if you will listen, we have something to tell you," I say calmly, trying to diffuse the situation.

They look at each other before nodding their heads. And so I begin.

"He is a werewolf, and I am his mate for life."

"WHAT?"

"I knew you were on drugs. Lying brat."
