Have you ever felt like the world just stops. Everything for a few seconds is still. Just now was one of these moments and it seemed to last for ages. Mia or whoever was in front of me was the first one to break the worlds stillness. She took a step towards me. Flames moving closer and closer. I could feel the heat of the fire on me. Moving towards me.
One of my two fears is fire. I don't know why. Childhood memories? I don't remember much of my life as a child. I just remember the colours of the flames that had once licked at my feet. The sound of their screams.
I snapped back in to the present. I tried to scream. I made no sound. I couldn't take it anymore. I jumped up .I was out of the door as fast as I could. I just kept running and running. I had to get away. I found myself in a field in the middle of no where. I'm guessing it was out in the countryside. I found a patch of crushed crops and sat down. I wrapped my arms around my knees. God it was cold!
I just sat their not knowing what to do. I wish I could cry but people like me don't deserve to cry. I mean people have worse lives. Right?
