Chapter 1

"Mum I'm coming home" I spoke down the phone. She screamed with joy "That's fantastic darling oh please be quick we all miss you" She was crying now. "I know mum it's been 2 years, I'll be on the next plane back to Melbourne, see you soon. Love you all" I was crying now too. After that we hung up the phone. I was exited to go home. I've missed my mum dad and my twin sister loads. I live in Queensland Cairns with my aunt and uncle they've been really nice to me these past 2 years. They helped me escape the antics in Melbourne, I honestly can't thank them enough but now it's time to go back home to my family where I belong.

I've had this planned for weeks now, to go back home and my aunt and uncle are so supportive of me. My mum and dad also helped me escape the madness by sending me up here.

*FLASHBACK*

"MUM HELP ME PLEASE" I stood at the front door blood coming from each side of my face, my vision was going crazy. I could feel the blood oozing out of my slashed face but some how it didn't hurt. "JON PHONE A AMBULANCE SHE BEEN DRUGED AGAIN" Mum howled at my dad, suddenly everything started to slow down then I passed out.

I woke up to find tubes coming from my arms and chest. The stale smell of the hospital smacked me in the face. Looking around the room I found mum sleeping on the the chair in the room. Soon dad strolled in surprised to see me awake. "Hey sweetie how you feeling" He said stroking my head "Not very good, can you wake mum up I need to talk to you guys" I asked taking a drink of water. He nodded and woke mum. "Lucy wake up Jadines awake" she perked up and gave me a small smile but I knew this was hurting her more than ever.

"Look I'm really sorry for all of this, it all needs to stop I know and the only way it can if I leave for a year or two. I don't know where I'll go but I have too" Mum nodded in agreement and so did dad. "Sweetheart we understand but were not letting you go off and live on the streets. We will arrange for you to go live with aunt Clara and uncle Phill for a while up in Queensland. Their house is spectacular it would be perfect for you to get away" Mum told me, soon after dad was on the phone to them explaining everything. "Okay Clara understands and she says it's okay for you to go" Dads spoke. I was so happy they understood.

I got discharge and allowed to go home, we all started to pack all my stuff up into many suitcases "Where's summer?" I asked talking about my twin sister. "Probably with her friends next door" I didn't even know summer had friends, just shows how absent I've been. "Really I didn't know she had friends, what's their name?" I questioned "Um I know one named Luke maybe?" I looked at my dad puzzled "Jadine you don't remember Luke?" I shook my head "The Brooks next door? you and Summer use to be such good friends with them when you were little!" Oh yeah the Brooks I totally forgot about them. "Oh yeah" I finally said.

By now my stuff was all packed up and the the door. "We need to tell summer that your going. I'll go get her" Mum went to walk out I stopped her "I'll get her." i walked out of garden and into next doors. I slightly knocked on the door and a very young looking woman came to the door. "Hi is Summer here?" she was staring at my bandaged face but then stopped when I noticed. "Yes she is sweetie I'll just go get her, come in it's getting cold outside" she smiled and walked upstairs.

Summer came down the stairs with who i think was Luke and Luke's mum behind her. "What happened now? How did you get that on your face?" She shouted inspecting my face. "Yeah that's why I came to get you, can you come home just for a little while we all need to talk" Summer knew exactly what was going on. "I don't like this. What's going on" Summer said walking out of the gate and into ours.

Telling Summer was the hardest bit. She was crying but she understood why this was happening. "I'll miss you" was all she could get out. We hugged, crying on eachothers shoulders. I pulled away and looked at her. it's scary how a like we look. The only thing tearing us apart was our hair and skin colour. I had bum length dirty blonde hair and natural tanned skin, where as she has just past her shoulders bleach blond hair and light skin. We both hand brown eyes and a cute smile. "Well I'll see you.. I don't know when but let's just say soon okay?" I spoke though the tears. Summer nodded and mum dad and I left.
