Once There were two boys, their names were Virgil and Logan. The two were completely different people, yet the same all at once.

Logan was a prince, next in line for the throne when he came of age. He was Intelligent and rather Stoic, though he did have a soft side, but he only showed it with a particular special person.

Virgil was a peasant, starving and vigilant. He could find light in the dark, though. Whenever he was around the logical prince he felt all his worries melt away. His only calm state was when he and Logan would run around in the fields that separated the shiny, sparkling castle from the roughed up village.

As the years passed,though

Things changed

Virgils mother and father died, and Virgil was sent to an orphanage. Thankfully, he was later adopted by King Thomas, where he finished growing up, and adapted to his new way of life with his adoptive friendly father and flamboyant brother, who went by the name of Roman.

Logans story, on the other hand, was not so bright and hopeful.

You see, Logan and Virgil wrote letters to each other. While Virgil was free to talk to the other boy as he pleased, Logan did not have it so easy. As Logan was gay he was on thin ice with his parents. The parents in question were extremely homophobic, and as a result, Logan was to marry a woman.

So when his parents found out about his friendship with Virgil, and were presented with the possibility they could be something more,

They

Were

Furious.

They forbid Logan from writing to Virgil, or even saying the anxious boys name, and that,

was the first time Logan cried, or had shown any emotion in general. Logan never cried, but from then on, it would be the first time of many. He wrote one last tear stained letter to Virgil that very night.

"My Dearest, Virgil,

It is with great sadness I must inform you that i have been forbidden from contact with you. Forever.

I apologize with all sincerity I can give.

As I care for you, this pains be deeply.

I wish to see you again one day, Virgil, but as for now, goodbye.

-Forever yours, (Sincerely, ME-)

 Logan."

The only comforts he had in these times were his friend from the next kingdom over, Patton, sneaking into Logan's room and hugging him whilst he sobbed into his shoulder.

Virgil never wrote back, though. He had been busy. Doing what you ask? Shutting himself in his room and crying his eyes out. He sobbed, and sobbed....and sobbed. His father and brother had attempted to console him, although it is hard to do so when he locked himself in his room.

But, time did not stop for them. Not at all.

Years upon years go by, and the two boys, now men, grew up grow up.

But every spare moment was spent thinking about the other. From Virgil's laugh, The adorable face he made when he was concentrated or confused. To Logans stunning green eyes,or beautifully rare smiles, But with each daydream came sorrow.

But what will happen to these love-sick romantics when Virgil is struck with an impassable opportunity to have Logan back?
