Chapter 9

Kaylee

Mommm I don't feel good I feel so weak I don't have energy to even roll over I said with the thermometer in my mouth

"Girl I know you burning up right now" my mom said touching my face

I stared groaning and coughing as she took the thermometer out my mouth

"101.2 you not just sick you got a whole fever" My mom said

"Imma go get you a popsicle from the freezer that's gon cool you down" My mom said going downstairs

She came back upstairs and gave me my popsicle which was to much work because I had to sit up

"All you need to do is rest don't be getting out of bed all day yo fever need to go down" my mom said

Okay mom I said

"If you need me imma be in the room you want yo door open or closed" my mom asked me

I want it closed I'll text you if I need anything I said

"Okay" My mom said walking out my room closing the door

I just sat in bed eating my popsicle watching tv when I finished my popsicle I threw it away and I laid down in bed for sure I started dozing off

-3 hours later-

"Kaylee wake up you need to take your medicine" I heard my mom said tapping my shoulder

Nooooo I said coughing into my pillow

"Girl you sound like a dead dog trying to bark sit up so you can take yo medicin" my mom said

I sat up and took my medicine drinking my orange juice right after

That medicine is nasty I said chugging my orange juice all the way down

"That was the last of the orange juice to I'm finna run to the store will you be okay" my mom asked me

Yeah I'll be okay I said

"Okay call me" my mom said

K I said she closed my door and then she left I just laid in bed starring at my celling fan

I started to fall asleep then I heard tapping at my window I looked over and It was Jahseh

I wanted to get up fast to open the door but I couldn't get up fast enough even with all my energy

It was making me mad how slow I got out of bed I tried to speed walk to the window but I was to sick

I got to the window and I let him in

"Hi baby" Jahseh said

Hey I said laying back down in bed what you doing here I said

"I texted you and you didn't text me back" Jahseh said

I looked at my phone oh that was because my phone is on DND

"You look terrible" Jahseh said feeling my face 

I know I said rolling my eyes getting under my cover sense I was cold

"Aw my poor baby is just ill" Jahseh said laying next to me

Bae I don't wanna get you sick move I said

"I could care less if I get sick as long as you feeling better"Jahseh said

I laid my head on his chest listening to his heartbeat which was making me fall asleep

"Kaylee" Oh hey Jahseh my mom said

"Hi Ms.Jones" Jahseh said

"Kaylee I got you some more orange juice" My mom said

Okay mom I said

"Alright imma get back to work I'll be in my work office Jahseh if you need anything" My mom said to Jahseh

"Okay" Jahseh said

My mom left and she closed the door behind her and I went back to falling asleep on Jahsehs chest

Jahseh then kissed my Forehead and I went to sleep.
