"I-It's Jungkook."

Namjoon felt himself completely freezing at Jin's words, a sharp wave of shock flowing through his body.

What?

"What?" Jimin exclaimed, almost perfectly mimicking his thoughts.

"Answer it!" Hoseok yelled from the couch, his face displaying a smile although his body was tense. Jin quickly nodded, shaking accepting the call and bringing the phone to his ear.

"Jungkook! Are you okay?! Where the hell have you been?!"

Namjoon could hear a muffled voice come from the other end of the phone, and Jin's skin suddenly blanched of all color.

"Wh-What? Yoongi!"

The atmosphere shifted hearing their other band member's name, and the remaining members started to shift and glance around at each other, eyes wide with a mixture of emotions.

"Yoongi?" Jimin questioned, his voice soft. Hoseok shrugged slightly in response, the rest staying silent and still as they tried to listen to the conversation.

"O-Okay...okay, yeah," Jin stood up from the couch and quickly moved over to the dining room where his coat lay draped over a chair, and pressed the phone to his shoulder to put on the jacket. "I'm on my way. Where are you guys?"

Taehyung immediately shot up hearing his hyung, and looked over the back of the couch to face Jin, "Wait, hyung!"

Jin nodded a little in response to what he'd heard through the phone and started to walk to the door, seemingly ignoring them as he slipped on his jacket. "Okay," he said softly, and Namjoon rushed over to the eldest, setting a hand on his shoulder and forcing him to turn around. Jin flinched a little at the action but complied.

"Jin, what the hell happened?" Namjoon demanded, expression stern. The singer said nothing, staring at the leader with wide, fearful eyes, an expression of unadulterated panic that the boys had never seen from their hyung before. Namjoon's expression softened at this, and Jin let out a shaky breath, slowly pulling the phone down from his ear.

"We'll talk later," he said softly, looking at the others before gazing back at Namjoon. "Come on." Roughly grabbing Namjoon's wrist, Jin tugged him to the door, causing the other members to cry out in protest.

"Jin-hyung, please!" Hoseok called desperately and stood up. "Wait!"

"Please don't leave yet," Taehyung pleaded.

"Tell us what's going on!" Jimin took a step forwards.

"We understand if it's urgent," Hoseok said, "Just please let us come with you, we're just--"

Slam!

Eyes widening, Hoseok stared at the closed door in front of him, his body frozen in shock. His heart gave a painful twinge at the cold behavior of his bandmate and he swallowed harshly, feeling a sharp spike of betrayal. He continued to stare for a few long moments, eyes welling as worry starting to spike back up in his chest with a vengeance.

God, what the hell is going on?

"Hyung," Taehyung's soft voice came from the couch, and Hoseok looked back, indecision flitting across his face before meeting the younger's worried eyes. Time to be a hyung, he thought grimly, softly biting his lip and looking down, shaking his head a little.

"Why not?!" the young singer exclaimed, standing up. "We have more than one car! And they need help--you saw how Jin-hyung reacted! We need to go!"

"Jin must've had a reason for going alone, Tae," Hoseok countered, his voice a little softer than his normal volume. "Maybe they asked for him to go alone."
