Forest-Namseok

Chapter 20

In contrast with the pretty European style house that the Golden Bane's had the Bloody Claws pack house was... dark. The house was built in the traditional Korean wave. In the middle of the forest on the opposite side of the city the pack had managed to give the impression a Korean king will step out any minute

As Jin drove past the grand gate he drove slowly towards the spot three female wolves pointed at him. Namjoon squeezed Hoseok's hand for comfort as Jin stopped the engine under the watchful eyes of the three ladies.

"Betas" Taehyung whispered unbuckling his belt and shooting a glance at Namjoon who simply nodded and opened his car door. Once everyone had stepped out into what seemed being the outer patio the three Beta ladies approached them and bowed respectfully.

"Follow us please" one of them said.

Namjoon walked at the head with Hoseok on his left side holding his hand tightly weary of his surroundings. To their surprise they were not instructed to take their shoes off as they stepped on the wooden surface of the first building.

Jin and Taehyung were taking in their surroundings memorizing the layout and silently planning a retreat. It looked like the mansion consisted of two buildings and the large walls around them. The first building, sectioned into large apartments, followed the perimeter and shape of the wall and from what it seemed Betas with their families lived there.

The four men were lead onto an opening that served as a gate right in the middle of the first building. Each apartment on the first building seemed to have one grand room with two windows looking at the main building. The two male Betas guessed they were using them for sleeping only since they saw toys littered on the inner patio. The inner house was square and from what they could tell a two story building, another surprise for the boys who would think it would be only one ground floor.

Again as they stepped inside the second main house they were told to leave their shoes on and silently guided through the narrow halls. At some corridors they had to walk one by one while on others they could walk side by side comfortably

What a strategically build home Namjoon thought as he saw the lack of windows in some corridors and how small the corridors could be. He could also hear his pack name being whispered behind the closed doors but he didn't feel any hostility from the voices. They mostly belonged to children or teenagers. He guessed they were passing through the playrooms

"They are so handsome... look his hair is really blond"

"Wow...his mate looks so pretty..."

"I want shoulders as broad as his when I grow up"

"Wow... such symmetry..."

"They are not called Banes for nothing... they'll kill you like a sweet poison"

Hoseok moved closer to Namjoon and laced their fingers once more. They had thought it would be better not to show much intimacy but hearing the voices and not being able to see them... it scared him. He needed to feel his mate's reassurance.

Namjoon squeezed his hand and pulled him to his side once the corridor was large enough.

"Please wait here for a moment" the three Betas slipped past some large thin door leaving them alone for a few seconds. They knew better than talking since everyone could hear them what they couldn't help but do was hug one another for a mere second.

Hoseok sneaked a kiss on Namjoon's lips as Jin looked deep into Taehyung's eyes that had his hands firmly set on his waist. They shared a soft kiss as well and got back into their position before the doors slid open to reveal a well lit dining room
