Mini-Chapter: D.O. and Cheru in Tokyo

KYUNGSOO POV

"Kyungsoo oppa..." I heard Cheru say. My eyes fluttered open.

"We're almost there." She said. She looked so cute. Her eyes were kinda puffy due to lack of sleep. We finished our schedules at 3AM after a full day of activities then we went straight to the airport for our one-hour flight to Japan.

"Why didn't you sleep Cheru-yah?" I asked her.

She smiled brightly. "I'm too excited oppa. We get to go to the land of anime!!!"

We went straight to the hotel after we arrived. There were a lot of fans trying to get into the hotel, I guess the news got out where the SMTown artists are staying. As soon as I stepped into the hotel room, I flung my bag onto the bed and went to look for Cheru's room. Luckily, it was only a few doors down from mine, but as I was about to knock on the door, one of the coordinator noonas whisked me away since she said we had no time and we had to go to the venue and get ready for the concert.

After we I got my hair and makeup done, I realized I had time to look for Cheru who was probably already there as well. I was walking down the hallway backstage and I saw Suho hyung talking to a stranger. A pretty stranger.

"Oh, Kyungsoo-yah." Suho hyung called out to me. "Come here."

I walked towards them and saw that the girl was also a performer. "Hello." I said in English, since I was unsure if she was Korean or not.

"Kyungsoo-yah, this is Ren Satoshi, she's a Japanese singer and she'll be opening for the concert." Suho hyung told me. He then turned to Ren and spoke in his rough English. "This is EXO member, D.O."

"Hajimemashite." I told her.

"Oh, you speak Japanese?" She asked.

I shook my head. "I only know a few words. A friend of mine really likes anime and she taught me some phrases before we went here."

After chatting with them for a while, even if it felt like I was thirdwheeling since Suho hyung obviously had a thing for her, I went off to look for Cheru. I found Jeri-ssi practicing her solo with Xiumin hyung. "Jeri-ssi, have you seen Cheru?" I asked her.

"I haven't seen her since rehearsals. I don't know where she went off to." Jeri-ssi explained.

I was about to look more, but they called me to prepare for the show which was in a few minutes. I seriously don't know why I can't find her. I thought to myself. At this rate, I could assume she's avoiding me. But why would she?

CHERU POV

When we arrived at the hotel, I was waiting for Kyungsoo oppa in my room since we agreed to meet up and play a game of UNO. After thirty minutes of waiting, I gave up and decided to go over to Jinki unnie's room to see if she wanted to play instead. Jinki unnie plays UNO with me no matter what kekeke. She says she can't handle my aegyo.

I was going to knock but it sounded like someone was in pain inside. My umma instincts got ahead of me and I barged into the unlocked room. I made the biggest mistake of my entire life. Sehun and Jinki unnie were...

My cheeks turned beet red so I closed the door and ran back to my room.

"Oh.my.God." I said to myself.

But what got me thinking was... would I have to do that with Kyungsoo oppa? I mean, Jinki unnie and Sehun oppa did it, Haejin unnie and Chanyeol oppa did it. And both those couples are really close compared to us. Maybe that was why Kyungsoo oppa didn't come to my room. Maybe he wanted us to do it.

But I was afraid. I didn't want to give it up to him. I was afraid that it would hurt, but moreover I didn't want to do it before marriage. After some thinking, I came to the decision that I loved Kyungsoo more than I loved myself, and I wanted him to be happy.

After the concert, I invited him over to my hotel room. "Are we gonna play UNO now?" Kyungsoo oppa asked when he arrived.

"Uhm..." I said, stuttering. "Oppa... do you want to sleep together?"

"Uh, sure." Kyungsoo oppa replied. "Should I get some blankets and pillows from my room so I could sleep on the floor?"

"Aniya oppa. That's not what I mean." I told Kyungsoo oppa.

Kyungsoo oppa's cheeks became flushed. "Oh, you want to..."

I nodded back.

KYUNGSOO POV

We were sitting in front of each other on the bed. Cheru looked so nervous, I was nervous too. I didn't want to hurt her. I awkwardly unbuttoned my shirt, revealing my pale chest. We laid down with me on top of her. I kissed her softly on the lips. I was pretty sure I wasn't kissing her roughly, but she started crying. I felt her tears running down her cheeks as she kissed me.

Suddenly, she pushed me away and ran out of the room. I went after her and we ended up at the hotel's poolside. She was crying as she sat down on one of the lounge chairs. I kept my distance since I was afraid that if I came closer, it would get worse.

"Cheru-yah mianhae." I said.

She got up and hugged me tight. "Oppa I should be sorry. I wanted us to have a better relationship, but I got too scared."

I looked at her in the eyes. "Aigoo Cheru-yah... We don't need to sleep together to have a good relationship. As long as we love each other, that's enough for me."

She hugged me tighter. "Kyungsoo oppa saranghae. Jinjja."

"Neodo saranghae." I told her. "Gaja, let's go play UNO." We started walking back to the hotel room. "And besides we have enough time to do that when we're married."

"So you're saying we're gonna get married?" Cheru-yah asked me, sparkles in her eyes.

"Maybe..." I replied. "If you learn to cook better than me."

"But oppa, that's impossible." She said.

I ruffled her bangs. "Just jangnan, I'm pretty sure I'll marry you. If I don't, I'll feel like my life has been a failure."

"Jinjja?" She asked.

I nodded back.

It was no lie that at some point I had the urge to sleep with Cheru, especially when she looks so beautiful. But I already liked how innocent our relationship was. So, I decided to wait for us to get married for me to make a move. As much as I wanted to feel pleasure, it could never surpass my love for Cheru.
