CHARLOTTE'S POV
It was a cold Septembers day, school started tomorrow and I was not looking forward to it. I picked up my phone to check my messages, the only message was from my friend Sam.
Sam: sup baby doll better text me soon or I'm coming over!
I was always woken up by silly messages like that but Sam was serious when she said she was coming over so I quickly typed
"I'm up I'm up silly" which due to my tiredness it came out as "in IP in IP silly"
I finally pulled myself out of bed to find mischief my black cat curled up around my feet, he wasn't happy that I'd woken him up but he knew he was getting food so I'm sure he didn't mind. I stumbled down the stairs with mischief dancing through my legs, we did this dance every single morning I'd got the hang of it by now. I slid into the kitchen with mischief still running beside me.
"Meow"
"Yes chiefy breakfast time!" I talked to my cat a lot it sounds strange but it made me feel better. I poured his food into his bowl then started getting myself ready. I grabbed myself a bowl, poured out some cereal and pulled up a chair.
"Good morning poo" I heard my brother Jamie call from the kitchen.
"Like you're any better" I called back. We always joked like this I love my brother more than anything in this world. Soon enough Jamie pulled up a chair and sat next to me.
"so any boy friends yet?" He said winking at me
"Jamie I haven't been out all summer" we laughed together. It was true we had both stayed indoors the whole holiday and watched movies and tv shows. We're lame like that.
Anyway after having an extremely exciting conversation with my brother I got up and danced with mischief up the stairs and got ready, I pulled out my black skinny jeans and my black veil brides top that I loved the most and danced back down with mischief. I didn't have any plans for today so I grabbed my blanket, pop corn and my phone and texted Sam.
"Movie marathon my house now" and before I knew it she was at my door.
We had a great time but soon it was 9pm and Sam had to go home. I got up and fed mischief and went to bed.
"Beep beep beep beep beep beep"
It was far to early to get up it was 6am this was unnatural teenagers have to stay in bed until 11am but no school didn't listen. I slowly pulled myself out of bed and crept into Jamie's room. I jumped onto his bed and held him tightly.
"Getttttttt uppppppppp" I screamed at him
"Okay okay I'm up I'm up get off me" he said in an extremely sleepy voice.
"Nope"
"CHARLOTTE don't make me carry you"
"In not moving" then suddenly he grabbed me and threw me over his shoulder and carried me down stairs. I got ready and left for school.
It wasn't that far away so I walked most days, I saw the same old people they all looked like zombies, we all walked in the same slow fashion all wishing we were somewhere else.
"CHARLOTTE" I shot round to see Matt he'd been my best friend for years but I hadn't seen him all holiday due to the fact he went to America for the whole 6 weeks.
"MATTHEW" I shouted back he ran over to me and gave me the biggest hug ever. I had really missed him.
"How was America?" I asked
"Great thank you"
We spend the whole walk to school catching up. We both walked in and found Sam, all reunited again and it felt great. We went to get our timetables then headed to our first lessons. I got to maths early which was a massive surprise for me I never got anywhere early, but the teacher wasn't far behind.
"Okay, okay settle down children" he shouted over everyone. "We have a new student today, Alec could you please sit down next too..."
Please don't say me please don't say me is all I could think.
"Charlotte, okay so let's get started"
Alec came and took the seat next to me.
"Hey I'm Alec, I'm guessing you're Charlotte" oh god
"Yeah nice to meet you" he had gorgeous black hair swept to the right and bright green eyes they basically shone.
ALEC'S POV
I was so nervous to start my first day I didn't know anyone and I completely stood out, everyone was staring at me. Left, right and centre.
"Alec Jones?" I turned round to see a woman who looked like she was in her 30's maybe I couldn't be sure.
"Yes, that's me"
"Oh good here's your time table, your first lesson is maths I'll take you there"
The woman led me to the maths room and everyone had already taken there seats but it didn't look like they had started so the woman told me to walk straight in.
The teacher told me to sit down next to Charlotte and he pointed at this beautiful girl with long black hair with a fringe that swept to the left and beautiful blue eyes like none I'd ever seen before. I quickly sat down and introduced myself she had a very soft voice and she sounded s little shy so I only made small talk and asked for help a few times. I think I'm going to like it here.
CHARLOTTES POV
Alec only asked me a few questions about the math work but he seemed pretty cool.
"Hey Charlotte, er do you know where science is?" He asked nervously.
"That's my next class I'll take you there"
"Oh thank you" he said with a massive smile spread across his cheeks. It was adorable.
We packed up our things and he followed closely behind me, it seemed like he was scared of getting lost. We got to science just in time because sir turned up straight after, I felt sorry for Alec because he had to stand up at the front on his own.
"Okay Alec if you could please sit next to Olivia that'll be great"
Oh no Olivia really anyone but Olivia. Olivia was the most popular girl in school, she was skinny and 'perfect' in most of the boys eyes. I couldn't hear everything I could've sworn I heard her say.
"Hey cutie, want me to show you around?" She made me so angry I accidentally snapped my pencil in half. I quickly grabbed a new one and started on my work.
ALECS POV
I was standing at the front of the class, Charlotte had already taken her seat and she was just looking around and getting her stuff out when our teacher told me to sit next to a girl called Olivia he pointed at a girl at the far right she had brown hair parted in the middle with a blonde streak on the right, she had lovely hazel eyes. I went to the back and sat next to her and the first thing she said to me was.
"Hey cutie, want me to show you around?" It was really awkward I didn't answer I just sat in my seat and got my stuff out. I looked over at Charlotte she looked so angry I think I even saw her snap her pencil but I'm not too sure.
"Hey cutie, stop staring at her you've got me now" she said winking at me. I quickly raised my hand and waited for sir to see.
"Yes Alec" sir said looking at me a bit angrily probably because I interrupted his lesson.
"Please may I move, I can't see the board that clearly" I realised what I had said and looked around to see if anyone had a spear seat next to them.
"Yeah sure whatever, anyway as I was saying" he said pointing back at the board. I grabbed all my things and walked over to the seat next to Charlotte and Olivia was not impressed.
"Er hey, do you mind if I sit there?" Pointing at the seat next to her.
"Oh of course not" I sat down and got ready again but before I could even start righting Charlotte turned to me.
"Do you wear glasses then?" I looked at her extremely confused.
"No why?"
"Oh just because you said you couldn't see so I just ashamed" she went all shy and trailed off a bit at the end.
"I couldn't bare sitting next to that Olivia girl I think she was hitting on me"
"She hits on every guy don't worry about it" this caused us both to laugh which got us both told off .
I chatted to Charlotte a lot more than I did in maths. Charlotte continued to show me round and take me to my lessons we both had English together but she sat next to some boy. Matthew I think his name was I couldn't be sure but soon enough it was the end of the day and I got up and basically ran out of class.
