CHARLOTTE'S POV
I was next to Matt the whole lesson we were talking about Alec most of the lesson.
"Have you spoke to the new boy Alec?" Matt asked looking over my shoulder looking at Alec.
"Yeah, he's in most of my classes and he's really sweet" I said blushing a bit.
"Oooooo" he automatically picked up on it and he poked me playfully.
"Matthew don't get any ideas" pushing him playfully. I couldn't help but think about Alec. He was sitting at a table on his own, he looked sad. I felt sorry for him. He suddenly looked over and I looked away as quickly as possible. He saw me staring at him I was so embarrassed. Me and Matt packed up our things and before I knew it Alec had rushed out and he was gone. We got out of our class room as fast as possible and Alec had already slowed down and was walking at a steady pace.
"ALEC!" He turned round really quickly, shocked almost. He stopped walking and just stood there staring blankly at me. I slowly jogged over to him, Matt wasn't far behind.
"Are you okay? I saw you storm off and I got worried" I felt myself blush.
"I'm fine I just wanted to get home"
"Oh I'm sorry which way do you walk anyway?"
"I live just over there" he said pointing at a medium sized house just across the street.
"Oh okay, here er text me sometime" I handed him a piece of paper with my phone number written on it. Me and Matt walked off leaving Alec standing alone.
"ooooooo" Matt said with a playful push.
"Oh shush you" I said playfully pushing him back.
ALECS POV
Charlotte handed me a piece of paper with her number written on it, it made me smile no one had ever given me their number before. I quickly ran home, I rushed indoors throwing my bag on the sofa.
"Alec you better pick that us you know how mum gets" my sister said she always got mad at me.
"Yes I know Annabel" I picked up my bag, grabbed a glass of water and ran up stairs. I threw my bag on my bed and grabbed a cd at random. It just so happened it was black veil brides, my favourite band, grabbed my homework and sat at my desk but all I could think about was Charlottes number.
I decided the science homework was too hard and that was the perfect excuse to text Charlotte.
Me: hey Charlotte its Alec do you get the science homework?
It was only a few minutes before I got an answer.
Charlotte: haha no wanna meet before school and try and work it out together?
Me: sure how does 7:45 sound
Charlotte: perfect see you there!
She gave me butterflies just thinking about her, I set my alarm for 6am to make sure I looked my best.
CHARLOTTES POV
Alec texted me asking about the homework, I didn't understand it so I offered to meet in the morning I quickly texted Matt saying I was getting to school early tomorrow. It was no surprise when he was shocked about me going to school early but I explained everything and he shortly understood. We talked until at least 1am before I realised I should've been in bed ages ago.
"Matt it's 1am we need to go to bed"
"Spoil sport, we will continue this tomorrow, good night"
"Night"
I hung up and fell asleep straight away.
It wasn't long before I was woken up by the horrible beeping of my alarm, I don't think I'll ever get used to it. I danced down stairs with mischief and found Jamie already down stairs .
"Oi why didn't you wake me up?" I asked concerned we always woke each other up it was like a competition we had.
"I've been up since one char, couldn't sleep" I started to worry a lot so I sat down next to him on the sofa.
"Hey Jamie what's wrong"
"The dreams are back" his expression blank, Jamie had always had these dreams of someone he loved kill themselves they stopped a while ago but something must have triggered them again. I said nothing I just hugged him tight.
"I'm so sorry jammy but I have to get ready for school and you need to get up for work" we both headed upstairs while our mum fed mischief. I got in my uniform and headed out, no one was out apart from a few adults going to work.
I texted Alec when I got to school we agreed to meet at the library so I headed straight towards there I grabbed a table, I was one of the only people in school. Alec came in and just sat down it scared me a bit.
ALECS POV
When I got to the library Charlotte was already sitting there, I didn't look like she had been there long as she wasn't on her phone or reading she was just sitting there. I pulled up a chair and she jumped a little, she looked so cute.
"Sorry did I startle you?"
"No sorry I just didn't think you'd get here that quick" she said raising her head of the table.
"I live over the road, anyway want to make a start on the homework?"
"Not really but it's got to be done" she said getting her equipment out, so I started to do the same. We both finished our homework just as Matt walked in, we all walked to science together saying hey to some girl called Sam on the way. As we got towards the science room Matt walked to his lesson and out of the corner of my eye I saw Olivia walk over.
