I fell to the ground and covered my head. I heard more gunshots. I heard yelling. Someone picked me up and carried me upstairs. I started kicking and screaming. They put me down and pulled me into a hug. It was to dark to see so I couldnt see who it was.
"Ma its me"
"August??" I said with a cracking voice
"yeah" he said
I wrapped my arms around him and started crying. He held me close.
"Shhh"
"I heard gunshots" I said
"He isnt dead....He didnt get shot I shot the wall just to scare him"
I nodded my head.
"Wanna meet my brother Melvin"
I looked at him.
"um, sure" I smiled
He smiled back and pecked my lips.
"love you baby girl"
"Love you too"
