Crimson Chaos

Chapter vii

 Here is where leads into the major lab and here is where you'll find the elevator that will take you directly into the heart of Octopus, only officials can gain access into it with their pass card and their finger print, i wonder how you intend to get in. In there you'll find a computer room, I haven't been there before but I think that there are so many personnel up there doing their thing, but that's not important, what you have to do is proceed into the grande sauvegarde, there you will find your baby waiting for you, then you rescue her with a kiss and then figure out a way to get outta that tower without been crushed by the dragon that stands guard over Octopus day and night.
 Vanessa raised her head off the map on the table and she beheld a confused Angelo, there he stood opposite her, his head and attention buried into the map of Octopus.
 "Any question soldier", Vanessa mocked.
 "Everything here is so complicated, too cumbersome to comprehend", Angelo complained.
 Vanessa replied with a shrug which Angelo interpreted to mean "your problem, not mine".
 "Well can i at least get a soft copy of the map", Angelo asked.
 "Sure, why not". Vanessa replied as she reached for her tablet and opened an application, "there you go", she said thrusting Angelo the tablet. Angelo compared what he had on the tablet and the hard copy of the map of Octopus and then he nodded in contentment.
 "Great" he said, "this will ease the stress, at least a little"
 "Seriously, you have just till four days time to steal chip555 and you don't even look prepared. I already explained to you what kinda trouble you'll get yourself if you get caught, there are camera's everywhere, in every single room and every single hallway, the security is tight, even God can't get through it"
 Angelo didn't seem to be interested in Vanessa's warning, he had all his attention on the map, he only replied her with a shrug which she interpreted to mean "my problem, not yours".
 "You know what?" Vanessa said, "I use to respect you from the very first day i saw you in that restaurant in Arkansas until the day i found out you lied to me"
 "Uhn? I never lied to you" Angel tries to defend himself.
 "Yeah you did, you lied to me, about everything, about your name, and about the press ups, i mean how could you do fifteen push ups and make me believe it was two hundred, who does that?"
 "Well I didn't mean it that way i was just uhm, i was ehm.."
 "Go on, you were just?" she lean forward towards Angelo for a better hear
 "Well I..am..uhm, am sorry", Angelo said in contrition. Vanessa pulled away, that wasn't the reply she had expected, she had hoped he would try to defend himself like Marvin would. "I was scared and I... But wait a sec, how did you manage to know that I am Angel"
 "Well you didn't change so much", she replied with raised brows
 "You on the other hand really did change a lot" Angelo giggled, "I remembered you use to be this nerdy, frightened little mice", they both broke into laughter, "but now, you're not the Miss Weather I use to know"
 "Yeah" she replied "thanks to you"
 "Me? how"
 "Well after that encounter with Lank, you made me realize something, Never mind, I thought I could pay you back but it seems you'll be leaving so soon"
 "I really don't get your plight, it seems am....."
 "What's going on here" Bart's voice broke their conversation.
 The sight of Bart sends rage running up Vanessa's abdomen, she hates him with a passion, not for the same reason everyone else hate him, but its a lot personally than that.
 "And how is any of it your fucking business" She replied with seething smile.
 "Hmmm, it's only a matter of time" Bart smirked, "there's gonna be a lot of changes around here"
 "What are you talking about"
 "Non of your fucking business, boss wants to have a word with you, like right now". Bart walks toward the door with a smile of victory, he turn around and finds Vanessa indifferent about the information she had just received, "you should know better by now" he added, "you don't wanna keep your uncle waiting" he smiled and walked away.
 Angelo watched Vanessa as she kept steering into blank space, biting her lips, "now i hate him too" Angelo said.
 "Am gonna kill that bastard" Vanessa said with soreness in her voice and sinister in her eyes "I'll drive a dagger into his heart" she said staring the ominous into Angelo's eyes "and look deep into his eyes and watch the life drain out of them". Without another word, she sauntered out of the room.
 Angelo shrug the whole horror away and focus on his map, "I gotta get a closer look" he said.
He walked down to Marvin's room but finds him in the hallway. "Hey Marvin have you had breakfast?"
 "Uhm.... y....eah?" he replied uncertain of what was coming.
 "Great, take me on  a tour"
 "ooook? and where do you wanna  go?"
 "Octopus".
