"Wait here son, I'll be right back, and no matter what happens, I want you to know that I'll always love you, OK"
"But dad", Angelo muttered, "why can't I come with you?"
Miller sighted, "son there's a lot you don't know, but someday you'll understand".
"Dad i have a bad feeling about this", Angelo says as he turns his face away from his dad.
"look at me son", Miller held Angelo's face to face with his, "its all gonna be fine, trust me".
"But who'll watch your back now", Angelo inquired.
"I got this kiddo, trust me". Miller replied with a distressed smile
Miller quickly picked up his brief case from the ground and made his way for the sky scrapper that stood on the other side of the traffic choked road.
Angelo watched his dad as he walked across the traffic and into a sky scrapper with a banner of gold that reads "Octopus". Salt water starts to make its way down Angelo's cheek, he knew something just wasn't right, he knew something bad was gonna happen.
Suddenly, great pandemonium overwhelmed the city of New York, an earthquake troubled the land and the sky scrapper (Octopus) came crumbling down bit by bit. There was chaos in the city, vehicles running into another, one building collapsing on another, people getting crushed by debris and sucklings crying for their mummy.
Angelo turned to run for safety, but he soon recalls that his dear dad was trapped in that sky scrapper Octopus. "Damn!" He cursed out loud, "Dad......."
Angelo tried to make for the sky scrapper that was slowly crumbling to dust, he races across the pandemonium soaked city to get to the sky scrapper, he didn't mind if he got crushed or ran over. well he never got crushed once, so why now.
Then in a twinkle of an eye, darkness covered the earth, thick darkness spreads her blanket of terror over the city of New York, and Angelo finds himself alone, overwhelmed with fear. his body starts to tremble, where did everyone go, Angelo was left alone with falling Octopus.
"Put your hands where I can see em" A voice yelled out
Angelo heard guns cracking, he turn around to see that he was surrounded by all the cops in New York.
"My dad, he's in there", Angelo managed to speak, "I gotta save him"
"Your dad is a dead man, son", the commander replied, "and so are you!"
Angelo calmed to observe himself, and he was covered with blood, he held up his hands to his face, and behold it was all covered with thick crimson blood!
"haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa"

Angelo woke sweaty and terrified from his nightmare or daymare as the case may be. It was just 1:45pm and a terror from Angelo's past haunted his nap.
"Are you OK kid?"
"huh?"
An old lady sitting opposite Angelo took pity on the young poor stranger who perhaps just woke up from a bad dream, he looked terrified and uneasy, and he was sweating profusely. She did noticed him mouth some words while he was asleep but now she can't help but feel concern about the kid.
Angelo kept examining himself, looking for blood stains or bullet wounds, he have this same dream often, especially in the day, and his reaction from the shock is always the same. He looked at the old lady who sat opposite him, looking concerned. Her hair was grey, but her eyes are full of life.
"Are you OK?" she repeated her question.
"I was tryna, i didn't know how it happened, i just", Angelo stammered uncertain of what to say.
The old lady got up from her sit as she walks to Angelo, she sat beside him and placed her hands on his cheek, "Its alright Danny", she said with passion in her voice, and anguish in her eyes.
Angelo looked into her young eyes for a moment that seems like eternity, tears soon start making its way down Angelo's face, he buried his face in the old lady's bosom, like mother and son they stay that way for the next couple of minutes. The chugging sound made Angelo recall he was on a train heading for Arkansas .

"So now you have to find your dad or his murderers?"
Angelo nod yes in response to Mrs Derrick question, "Its the only reason why I'm here".
"I don't know what more to say Danny, but i hope that above all you seek, you find peace, joy and true love, its all that matters", Mrs Derrick said starring into Angelo's eyes, "You remind me so much of Danny".
Angelo watched as tears make its way down the old lady's face, "He's in a better place now", he said as he rub off her tears with his palms.
"I gotta go". Mrs Derrick stood to her feet, Angelo did the same. She bends her aged back to reach for her only luggage.
"Let me help you with that ma'am" Angelo quickly picked up the bag that sat between him and Mrs Derrick in the park.
"Thanks a lot sweetheart".
Angelo gave a grin that salted the old lady's heart and she couldn't help but smile. Side by side they both walked out of the park into the main street to get a cab for Mrs Derrick. On Angelo's left hand was Mrs Derrick luggage and on his right was his gig bag.
"Taxi", Angelo called out.
A taxi stopped right in front of them. "This is it Danny", the old lady said soon as Angelo puts her luggage inside the taxi, "lets path ways to our different destiny routes, promise me you'll always be a good boy".
"I won't forget you in a hurry ma'am, and all the things you said". Angelo threw his arms round the old lady as tears leaves his eyes. "You're a granny i never had".
Without another word, Mrs Derrick slowly broke the hug and entered her taxi. Angelo watched as they slowly disappear out of sight and here he is once again, all alone.
Now what, Angelo thought to himself. At this point, Angelo was concern about only one thing, his appetite. But first things first, he has to make a very important call and his device was out of coverage. After a while of footing the streets of Arkansas, his eyes fell on a payphone that stood just beside a restaurant. "Well well well, what do you know", Angelo said to himself with a little smirk plastered on his lips as he crosses the street and walks towards the payphone.
Unfortunately for Angelo, someone seems to had gotten there before him. She flung her long blonde hair around as she turns to see Angelo in a one man queue waiting for his turn. A smile was plastered on her devil red lips. "Hi", Angelo muttered. She turned away from him and never said a word.
"Hello, I need to talk to someone very urgently, if you don't mind". Angelo yelled as he totally lost all the patience in him watching the pretty lady holding the telephone on her ear for the past eight minutes without even uttering a word.
Angelo gently walked away and into the restaurant overwhelmed with silent fury. Every eyes played on him as soon as he entered into the restaurant, he tried as much as possible to ignore them as he took his seat.
"Waiter, get me an ham burger and a smoothy". Angelo demanded. No one paid attention to him, it was almost like he didn't exist, and yet every one kept looking at him, except the waiter who seems to be deeply engrossed in a book just as soon as Angelo entered the room.
"I said i need an ham burger and a smoothy, is that too much to ask for". Angelo yelled
"Hey kid"
Angelo turned to see a tall fat man standing behind him, his face was a congregation of beards. He wore a faded blue jean and a white singlet, and he wreaked of alcohol.
"How many black dudes do you see in this room, huh?" He asked
"Just me", Angel replied looking at the unpleasant stranger somewhat scornful. Then he turned away from the hairy stranger and look towards the waiter. "Can i get my order now", he said almost laughing.
The big man dragged Angelo roughly out of his seat and threw him on the floor like a deserted cup of cold coffee. Everyone laughed and shouted in amusement, but it all reached its peak at the sound of a gun shot.
Bang!
"Hands down everybody", Bang! "Am not gonna hurt anybody", Bang! "Just gimme all your money, jewelries, guccis and versaces, hehehehehehe". Bang! Bang!
