Chapter 1:            Discovering

I woke up that day and stared at the ceiling. I felt a bit sick, but it's not even Winter. I barely got myself out of bed, because, as always, I'm late for school. I put on a black Hoddie and a high waist jeans on. I went down to the kitchen, where my mom already waited for me.

"late as always" she said to me.
"I'm sorry mum" I answered her while eating my cereal. I stood up and put my shoes on, I grabbed my school bag and said goodbye to my mom. I grabbed my keys and left the house.

As always I was running down the street to get to the school bus, but today, I missed it. I had no chance, I had to ran to school. So I started running down the streets. It took like 15 Minutes and I was late for my first class. I rushed into the school and down the hallway.
I crashed into the class, everyone looked at me.
"I'm sorry, I missed my school bus" I told Mr. Mirk. "It's ok, take a seat" he told me.

I sat next to my friend Tony. "Why are you always late?" she asked me quite. "Why are you even asking? I'm always late!" I said back to her while unpacking my bag. "Yes you're right, since grade 5" she laughed. Mr. Mirk continued the lesson. I didn't even payed attention to him, I was just sketching something ugly in my College Block. As soon as the bell rings, I got up from my seat, already packed my bag. I left the class and waited in the hallway for Tony.
"why weren't you paying attention?" she asked me while we went to our lockers. "you know that I'm not really into school" I told her. I don't know why she even asking, she knows me since grade 5. "What were you doing in the summer break? We haven't talked" she asked me, while looking at me with a serious face. "umm, nothing" I quickly said while closing my locker. "That's not the truth, I see that. Tell me" she said. "Well... My family and me went to Germany. We stayed there for a month. Then, my mother found out that my Father was cheating on her. My brother stayed with my Father and I went back to Oklahoma with my Mum" I told her. "Oh, that's sad" she said and looked some kind of sad. "And you? Did anything happened in your life?" I asked her fast. "Accutaly yes, you know about me and Cal, right?" she said and we sat down. "yes" I answer her. She continued, "well...he took me to Disneyland and after that he told me that he's breaking up with me." she told me, I could tell there's pain in her eyes. "That's horrible, how could he!" I told her while hugging her. "It's fine, one day I'll find my boo." she said. The bell rings and we went to our next class.

After the class I made my way to the Cafeteria, because Tony told me she's waiting there for me. I walked into the Cafeteria and searched for Tony, she was sitting with others and waved at me. I walked over to them. "Hey Guys!" I said, and sat down. "Hey, have you heard about the app?" Tony asked me. "What App?" I answered her confused. "It's called Tik Tok, it's awesome there are so many people being famous. Oh, I wish I'd be famous" Tony told me.
"Oh okay, nice" I said quickly. "Bethany already has over 1k fans!" she said. "Congrats, Bethany" I said to her. "Thank you" Bethany said while looking a bit selfish. They talked about Tik Tok the whole day, I got a bit annoyed.

After School I drove home with the bus. I walked down the streets with my Hood on and my headphones in. When I arrived home, I threw my bag away and went to the fridge, because I was very hungry. While making something to eat, I thought about this app. I decided to download it and look, if it's really so cool like they say. I sat down in the living room and made a account while eating. I scrolled on the "For You" Page. I saw, that there are a bunch of People who get thousands of likes.
'Oh, what if I would be famous? Would I like that? Would it be hard? Or would I love it?' I was thinking to myself. I decided to leave that App on my Phone and just do my Homeworks.

My Homeworks took me like 2 hours, why is school so hard. Totally exhausted, I layed down on my bed. I opened Tik Tok. I found a nice sound. I decided to do a simple video with it.
I loaded it up, and put my phone away. It was already late, so I took a shower, brushed my teeth and put on my Pjama. 'Mom is still not home, looks like she has to work late today' I thought to myself. I went to bed and fell asleep fast.
