Just a disclaimer: Chinese is my second language, a language I'm not strong in. I might not be entirely sure of many Chinese phrases, so please forgive me if there are mistakes. This is a direct translation as far as possible. However, there may be Chinese idioms that cannot be translated directly, in which case, I would use words that best convey its meaning. There are also many cases in which the direct translation of a Chinese word or phrase would sound very strange in English, hence I would try to rephrase it in a way that reads more smoothly and can best retain the author's original meaning. I may also have occasional notes/comments in brackets (). This is my first translation and I'm not a writer, therefore my descriptive words might be limited. Please feel free to correct me if you spot any errors or if something looks weird. =]
Seeing the two brothers silent, An Guang Yao gave a light cough and said, "Since you are both here today, Grandpa has something to discuss with you."
An Luo replied in question, "Grandpa, what is it?"
An Guang Yao said, "Our An family business has 2 main sectors. One is the Hua An entertainment company handling talent management and the other is Hua An Hotel. Previously, these 2 departments were handled by a single board of directors but there have been many internal conflicts. So, I was thinking of separating and converting them into independent companies for the both of you to handle separately."
An Luo immediately understood An Guang Yao's intentions. The old man must be worried that one mountain could not accommodate two tigers (Chinese idiom) and disagreements might emerge among the two brothers. By doing this, it would allow minimal conflicting views between the two brothers, just that An Luo had no interest in the An family business and the potential business separation had no impact on him whatsoever.
Seeing An Guang Yao looking at him, An Luo quickly replied, "Regarding this matter, the both of you can decide. I have no opinion."
An Guang Yao turned his head toward An Ze.
An Ze lifted his head and looked at An Luo, then said indifferently, "Let Grandpa decide then."
An Guang Yao touched his chin, "Since the both of you have no opinion, we shall proceed with this. Once Xiao Luo has recovered more and is able to walk, I will hold a board meeting and officially introduce the both of you to all the shareholders."
An Luo said, "Grandpa, my legs are already much better and I should be able to walk from next week onwards."
An Guang Yao smilingly replied, "That's great. The both of you should make some preparations these few days." Speaking and turning to An Ze at the same time, "An Ze, your brother has lost his memory and need to re-learn many things. Remember to help him out."
An Ze gave a low cursory reply, "Yes Grandpa."

After lunch, An Ze immediately turned to leave, seemingly unwilling to stay for even a moment longer.
An Luo accompanied An Guang Yao in the living room to watch television. An Guang Yao loved to watch the opera channel, but An Luo was completely uninterested. Hearing the opera music from the television, An Luo only felt a splitting headache and had to give an excuse saying he needed to rest, then turned and left.
Reaching An Ze's bedroom doorway, An Luo couldn't help but to stop and think of An Ze's injury. A complex feeling of anxiousness and distress continuously emerged in his heart.
I wonder how serious his injury is. Should I check on him?
Inexplicably, An Luo gently pushed open the room door and saw An Ze lying in an upright sideways position on the bed, with his brows creased and looking extremely uncomfortable. An Luo walked to the bed, reached out and felt An Ze's forehead but was shocked by the degree of heat felt on his hand.
