If there is a monster under my bed, then (s)he must be pissed at night because I move around all the time in my sleep, I sleep talk, sleep fight, and on occasion sleep walk. But what if the monster responds, directs me back to my bed, and helps me fight. What if the monsters are nice and want to be our friends who are too timid to be seen in the daylight or the light just hurts them, so that's why kids with nightlights don't have any?
