Lily's POV

I slam the door to my locker. I'm already ready to leave, and I haven't even been here for fifteen minutes yet.

"Whoa there, someone seems a bit more agrivated to be at school than usual, what's going on in that head of yours this morning?" Abigail says.

Abigail Ward has been my best friend since I was six years old. We have been neighbors ever since we were little. At first it was kind of like those forced friendships where our parents would try to make us to play with each other. But I didn't want anything to do with Abigail until the first day of first grade when we sat next to each other at our tables. That happened to be the biggest seating chart mistake Mrs. Arlington had ever made in her entire teaching career. Once we got to talking, the two of us never shut up. We were partners in crime and we've stuck by each other's sides ever since. Which is a very long time considering the fact that we are Juniors at West Bridge High School now.

"I have biology with Mrs. Banks next block." I say answering her question.

"And? Don't you have that every white day?" She asks.

"And... Bryce Rivers just switched into my class because the other biology teacher personally asked the principal multiple times to get him out of his class. Can't blame the teacher, I'd do the same thing if he was my student." I reply.

"But... At least it's Friday! Yay! You're so close to the weekend, hang in there. " Abigail says.

"As much as I love you, I'm not in the mood for your perky positive motivation right now." I say.

Bryce Rivers is my sworn enemy. He has to be the most egotistical, annoying, stuck up, guy that I have ever met. Practically every girl that attends West Bridge is absolutely obsessed with him, yet I can't stand him. The hatred goes both ways though, he can't stand me either. We are like cats and dogs.

It has always been that way with Bryce and I. Well at least ever since Kindergarten when he cut off one off my pigtails, which was not cool with me. When I came home crying to my parents, they just gave me the cliché advice that all parents tell their little kids. That when a boy is mean to you it meant he had a crush on you. I decided to make fun of him for liking me and that wasn't cool with him.

Which, it turns out he didn't even like me. Which made him dislike me even more. We've been all about revenge and holding grudges against each other ever since.

Which seems stupid considering that it was only kindergarten, but everything that he's done to me and that I've done to him, ever since then has added up. The point is, Bryce Rivers and Lily Morgan do not mix well.

I glance up at the clock at the end of the hallway. I have two minutes to get to class so I start walking towards biology, ready to face the 90 minutes of pure torture, that awaits me. Which even though it is only a 90 minute block, I'm certain it will feel like hours. As I'm making my way towards room 143 on B hall, Someone bumps into me making me drop all my books. I quickly gather them because I don't want to be late to class.
