Lily's POV

"What am I going to do? I can't just sit here and let them post lies about me." Abigail says sounding concerned.

She came over after we FaceTimed. Since she is my neighbor and we've been best friends for a while, she basically lives with me. She just walked right in when she saw I was home. My parents are used to it. They have just accepted that she is their adopted daughter.

"I told you, don't let it get to you. Just hope the people at our school are smart enough to not believe that stuff."  I reply.

"Hah, yeah okay. Cause the students at West Bridge are geniuses." Abigail says sarcastically.

"Man I really wish I could bust up whoever made this account." I says.

"What would I do without you?" She asks.

"You'd probably die. You are really privileged to be my friend. Honestly you are really privileged to even be near me. I'm amazing."

"You're ridiculous." She says, shoving me off of my bed playfully. I land on the floor with a thump and look up at her frowning and cross my arms.

It's Friday afternoon so we invited Olivia to my house.

     "So." Abigail says

     "So." I say mocking Abigail.

     "So." Olivia says.

"Oh my god this post is so humiliating! Why would they do this to me?" Abigail whines.

"Abs, we've been over this! Don't let it get to you! Just don't even think about it." I say.

"I have an idea on how to get your mind off of this." Olivia says.

"Please." Abigail says. "Anything. I swear, just anything to make me stop thinking about this stupid rumor." Abigail begs.

"A party! A guy on the baseball team is throwing a party tonight, I heard about it during third block today and I want to go." Olivia says. Abigail nods her head in agreement.

"Is that such a good idea?" I ask. I've never been much for high school parties. Everyone is drunk, and making out with each other, and doing things they'll regret the next day.

"I think a party would be a good distraction." Abigail says.

     "But-" I say.

"Oh come on buzzkill! Live a little!" Olivia says cutting me off.

"What if I don't wanna live a little..." I say crossing my arms like a stubborn two year old.

"Well you don't have a choice." Olivia says.

"But guys." I whine. I will not go down without a fight.

"I don't know where you have been for the past... 56 years of your life but I'm your queen and you do what I say." Olivia says.

     "I'm 16, not 56." I say.

"You act like your 56 because you refuse to go to parties! It's junior year for crying out loud!" Olivia says.

     "Please." Abigail begs.

"Fine," I say giving in. "Only for you though Abigail." I say.

"Yeah uh huh okay. I'll just pretend that one didn't sting." Olivia says clutching her heart.

"I love you Liv." I say with a wink.
