It was a thursday afternoon and the line at Starbucks was as long as is could be, but I promised Ava to bring her something on my over to her place.
We've known each other since kindergarten and we've been best friends ever since. We would do pretty much anything for each other, so it was hard for me to deny her request, even though I hated Starbucks.
Not only because it's crowded as fuck but because all of those wanna be vloggers would be there, filming their shitty videos.
This was Los Angeles and everybody was thirsting for some kind of fame.

I've been waiting for what felt like hours on end until I finally made it to the cash register to give my order to the employee. I pulled my phone out of my pocket while I was waiting for my order. I caught a glimpse of myself on the black screen. Messy hair, no make up, I looked tired af. Because I was.
It took about another 10 minutes until I finally got what I ordered.

"Very Berry and Iced Latte?" The Barista shouted. I looked up from my screen right at her, she gave me a half-smile as she handed me the drinks, I bet she was even more annoyed than I was.
"Thanks," I said, trying not to sound too bitchy, but I was glad I could leave this hellhole. I hated being social and I hated talking to strangers even more.

I was kind of weird in situations like this.
I hated these days.

I stood there for a few seconds to stow my cell and take both drinks when I suddenly felt something cold and wet dripping down my back.
"What the hell?" I shouted loudly as I turned around hastily to see what had just happened. I normally wasn't someone to speak up, I was usually pretty shy but i couldn't help it.

Behind me stood a brown-haired boy with his eyes wide open, he looked at me in shock. Before I could even say anything else, he began to talker .
"Oh my god I'm so sorry" he said with a slight despair in his voice. My face frowned even more than before.
"Can you watch it, you just ruined my sweater," I replied angrily. Because this was the sweater Ava had only borrowed me with the words, "This is my favorite sweater, I'll better get it back in one piece!"
Her words were still in my ears as noticed how the brunette boy with the brown eyes was now staring at the sweater.
"Actually" the boy said grinning at me „that's my sweater."
