I felt the sun on my face as I opened my eyes slowly, adjusting them to the brightness in the room. For a second I was confused about where i was but soon remembered that I spent the night at David's house.
I got up slowly, feeling every bone in my body ache.
I turned my face just to see the empty side of the bed next to me, it didn't look like it had been slept in. I took my phone from the nightstand on side that I was sleeping on.

13:44pm

,,Wow, i slept like a Rock!" I thought to myself.
David's bed was just so comfortable but I was wondering where he was sleeping, probably on the couch, if he even slept at all.

I finally got out of his bed and made my way to the living room to check if David was there. I was just wearing the sweater, he gave me before I went to bed, wandering around the seemingly empty house.
The house was a mess, empty bottles of alcohol and trash everywhere. He would probably hire someone to clean it for him.
As I wandered down the hall to the living room a door to my left suddenly sprung open. I took a quick step back, squealing in shock.

I was so scared that I accidentally dropped my phone on the ground and with that noise Natalie shrugged together as well.  We both stood there in shock for a moment before Natalie's facial expression turned into confusion. ,,I'm sorry, I didn't know you were still here." she explained.

,,Yeah I- uhm, have you Seen David?" I asked.
Natalie looked at me with a strange look before she began to answer my question ,,He is at a meeting, but I'm sure he will be back soon. Do you wanna wait?"

I thought about it for a second but decided that it's been already weird enough staying at David's in the first place.
,,No I guess I'm gonna head home but thanks and please tell thank you to David for letting me stay the night for me."
She gave me a quick smile and then nodded. I thanked her and made my to the living room to grab my clothes and my boots, then I made my way to the front door, ready to leave.

As soon as I opened the door, is was greeted by an familiar smile. It was David with a key in his hand ready to unlock the door.
,,Good Morning!" his smile widened.
,,Morning." i replied unsure wether I should have said something else. It was an awkward moment, we both stood there not saying anything.
,,Are you gonna let me in?" He broke the silence with a chuckle. ,,Uhm y-yeah sure, I was just about to leave anyways." I answered, turning my body so he could enter his house.

,,Oh, you're leaving!" he began to speak „i thought maybe we could grab lunch or something?"
