Mae wiped her tears onto her sleeve and sighed. She was scrolling through the comments of her newest Instagram post when one in particular caught her eye. She hadn't known that Aidan Gallagher, her all time idol, had not only liked, but commented on her post. And showed concern! She quickly typed his username into her messages and opened the chat.
AidanRGallagher: Hey I saw your most recent post and I understand if you don't wanna share because you don't know me, but I am a little worried. It's also fine if you don't text back. I wouldn't text back either if a random 15 year old boy texted me lol. Anyways, whatever you are going through, I hope it gets better.
Mae quickly calmed herself down, and stopped her hands from shaking so she wouldn't drop her phone. Then she responded.
MaeRyder: hey, thanks for showing concern. i am not comfortable with sharing what happened yet, but i will sometime in the future if we keep talking. lol i don't really have a vaild reason why i wouldn't text you back. you are my idol after all. thanks and i hope it gets better too cause right now, life sucks.
Mae shut off her phone, and flopped down on her bed, laying on her stomach. Then she heard it vibrate and pressed the power button. The screen lit up and sure enough, her first notification was a response from Aidan. She ignored the butterflies in her stomach and gained enough courage to unlock her phone to read the full message.
AidanRGallagher: Your welcome. And that's totally alright, I understand. I would be up to keep talking if you want to. You seem like a cool girl. And I am flattered that I am your idol. Trust me, I will make sure that it gets better. And life might suck right now, but it will get better. All you need is time.
Mae blushed and responded once more before shutting off her phone and going to bed.
MaeRyder: thanks again Aidan. i really appreciate your help. i hate to cut this short but i am gonna go to bed. i would love to keep talking. i'll text you later.
