Aidan sighed as he turned off his phone. He knew he had made a mistake. He quickly finished his food, and left the restraunt. When he got back to Mae's, she was sitting on the couch, clearly angry. "So, you will tell me everything, otherwise, we are breaking up, and you are never talking to me again." Mae said, her voice trembling. Aidan sighed again, and sat down on the couch next to Mae. "Alright, you want the truth. Amanda is someone very close and special to me." He saw tears welling up in her eyes, as she looked away from him. "Is she special like me?" Mae fought to get the words out, and Aidan could tell how much pain she was in. "Amanda is one of my closest friends, Mae. If you think I'm dating her, I'm not. There is a heart by her name because she died. She died last night. And that text is the last thing I have from her." Aidan's voice cracked and then broke. Mae looked at him, and noticed that there was tears in Aidan's eyes now. "The text loaded in this morning." Aidan said, tears rolling down his cheeks. Mae hugged him and wiped the tears off with her thumbs. "I am so sorry Aidan." She said, now crying. Aidan faked a smile, and went into the bathroom to calm down.
