Chapter 23- Training...

Kayla’s POV

I slowly walked over to the group surrounded around Oliver’s mum; I blended into the group as Oliver’s mum began teaching/training us…

God this training was brutal! I’ve been kicked in the gut some many times I seriously think my intestines have changed, I have so many bruises appearing but then they quickly disappear after each other it’s bloody annoying.

I was training with this guy and he was seriously pissing me off; He swiped at me head and I quickly ducked. He quickly kicked me in the gut, knocking me back a few feet. I gritted my teeth together as the guy came closer to me, while he was running at me when he was close enough I kicked him in the shins then went for his face getting his right in the nose.

He clutched his nose for a minute, kneeling on the floor. I just stood there as Oliver’s mum- I remembered her name Julia came over to me.

“What are you doing?” She asked, narrowing her eyes at the guy then back at me I just shrugged.

“He hit me, I hit him and now his on the ground with what I hope is a broken nose” I said with a smirk, she scoffed and looked down at the guy.

“Get up! Go find someone else to practice with” The boy quickly got up and walked off to find someone else by themselves. Julia turned to look at me and created space between us, she stood in a defensive stance.

“Come on! Your fighting me now, I wont be easy but I will give you pointers cause you seem more capable then half of these idiots” She said making me smirk, I copied her movements standing in a defensive position. She ran at me quickly, going to punch me in the face but I quickly dodged it to the side. She surprised me by going to my other side of my face; I quickly dodged it to the other side. She did again making me think quick decisions, I quickly got sick of this little game and took my turn and kicked my foot under her tripping her to the ground. She grabbed my foot from the ground and tripped me up with a thud to the ground; she quickly got up and loomed over me as she gripped my throat from the floor.

“Never let your guard down to your opponent, it doesn’t matter what advantage point you have. Let’s try again” She let go of my neck and lended me a hand, I gratefully took it and stood up dusting off my clothes. We took our spots again, trying again but same result.

After gruelling hours of constantly been tackled to the ground Julia decided to give me a break, I thanked her as I went and sat on a near by log.

“Told you she was a mean fighter” Oliver's voice said causing me to look up at him, I rolled my eyes at him as he sat next to me.

“Whatever, I bet I could beat you though” Oliver scoffed smirking at me; I raised my eyebrow at him as I stood up.

“Come on then, I’ve been waiting for this” I smirked; his trademark smirked played across his lips as he got up as well. We went and took spots near the middle, everyone else separate around us as we stood in defensive positions just like Julia taught me.

We circled each other for a moment or two, until Oliver lunged at me. I quickly stepped to the side and he stumbled, he quickly turned back around and swiped at my head, I quickly dodged him going behind him I whacked him over the back of the head. He quickly turned around as I dodged his next punch to my head, he went to punch for my head again and I quickly dodged his move and hit him where it hurts. He fell to the floor clutching his man-hood; I quickly pushed him on his back as I straddled him holding his throat.

“Told you I would beat you, you didn’t even touch me once” I smirked, he shook his head at me angrily but then smirked confusing me.

“Maybe I wanted to be in this position” I rolled my eyes getting off him not before I kicked him again in the balls, making him curl up in a ball on the floor. Oliver soon composed himself and stood rubbing his man-hood, he glared at as I just smirked as Julia comes over to me.
