Chapter 16

~Minxs POV~ 

I was on the couch after breakfast, feeling funny. My breathing got heavy, and I passed out.

I woke up, with a sharp pain in my head. I looked around, and I was in a hospital. Chilled was in a chair next to me, asleep and Ze was on the pull-out couch in my fancy hospital room. My head was pounding, trying to remember anything, but that didnt happen. I slowly and shakily moved my hand towards the 'Call Nurse' button, and when I reached it I didnt have the strength to press it.

"C-chilled..." I whimpered, my voice shaky. My throat hurt like hell. I looked at Ze again, and he was snoring like a pig. I looked on my sidestand, to see an empty water cup. I picked it up shakily, and threw it at Chilled. I missed. Goddamnit. I leaned my head back, pain coursing through my head and throat. I closed my eyes, waiting for the pain to subside. It never left, it just stayed the same. I tried to press the 'Call Nurse' button now, and I had enough strength. I pressed it, and a nurse instantly came into my room.

"Yes, Michelle?" The nurse asked quietly, as if trying to not wake up the men sleeping in my room.

"C-Can I have water?" I croaked, my voice didnt even sound like my normal one. It was rough, and shitty. She nodded, leaving the room and returning with a cup of water. She helped me drink it, and then I asked, "W-Why am I h-here?"

"You had a brain tumor, and had surgery. You pulled through nicely though." She answered. I thanked her, and layed my head back down. I felt a familiar hand land on mine, and I looked up.

"Ch-Chilled?" I croaked. He nodded, and put a finger over his lips, telling me to be quiet. I nodded, leaning my head back. He handed me his phone, and he had something typed on it.

'How are you feeling?' He asked through the text.

'It feels like I went through fucking hell' I typed slowly. He nodded, and put the phone away. Chilled walked over to Ze, and shook him awake. Ze groaned, rolling onto his stomach.

"Ze, shes awake." Chilled explained. Ze popped up, and ran to me.

"Im so happy your okay." Ze kissed my hand. I wouldve refused, but I was too tired. And since when do I have brain tumors? I rolled my eyes, and looked at Chilled. I wanted a kiss on the lips from that guy, but he wasnt kisisng me. Damnit Chilled. 

Chilled walked over to me, and we talked for a while.

"H-How long was I asl..." My voice was magically gone, just like that. "                  " I tried to talk, but nothing came out. I mouthed 'help' to Chilled and he got a doctor.

"Your voice should return fairly soon, its just your brain is tired and doesnt want to speak so it can heal." The doctor explained. Chilled and Ze thanked him, and he walked away. I tried to fall asleep, but so many thoughts were rushing through my mind. I didnt even have any relatives with tumors, so why did I have one. None of this makes sense, and makes me wonder if the doctors lied and did something to my brain. I tried to speak again, but just ended up with my mouth open.

"Minx, your gonna catch flies that way." Chilled joked. I snapped my mouth shut, glancing at him in the corner of my eye.

"Chiled, shes sick dont pick on her." Ze scolded. Chilled rolled his eyes, and got onto his phone. After a while, Ze went to get food for us, and it was just me and Chilled. I motioned for Chilled to come closer, so he did. Eventually, he understood and kissed me passionately on the lips. I kissed back, but lost it. I saw black, then a bright light. Nope, not going towards that. I tried to walk away from the light, but it was dragging me closer. Eventually I was brought into reality.

"Thank the lord, you almost died again Minx." Chilled said with tears in his eyes, and some on his cheeks. I shakily wiped the tears off his cheek, and he smiled. 

~A Month Later~ 

"Minx, come onnnn." Chilled whined. 

"Chilled, im really lazy." I whined, as he urged me to get up and go on a date with him. I was just really tired, and didnt want to go.

"Please Minxy." He begged. I gave in, just because I was getting bored of his begging. I got into jeans, and a purple sweater. I put on my winter jacket, winter boots, and we walked into the brisk weather. I shivered, and we walked to the park. When we got there, Chilled shouted, "RACE!" And ran towards the hill. I ran after him, but slipped on ice.

"Fuck." I mumbled, shivering a bit. I stood back up, and ran towards him. I saw him slip and fall, and burst out laughing.

"Shut up!" Chilled yelled to me, he was so far away already. I ran up and caught up to him, and then we both slipped on ice, and he caught me swiftly in his warm arms. 

"Thanks, Chilled." I thanked him, and he smirked. I stood up easily, while he struggled, slipping on the ice over and over.

"Minx helppp." He whined. I started laughing, and trying to hide my fit of laughter. He sat on his butt, which was probably freezing due to the ice underneath. I helped him up, and then he tripped me so I landed on top of him.

"Payback, bitch." he said with a smirk on his face, and he slipped out from under me, darting up and running to the hill. I got up quickly, and followed him. When he reached the hill, I walked slowly towards him, not wanting to fall for the one hundrenth time. When I got to him, I slipped and he swiftly caught me, neither of us falling. I looked into his brown eyes, those goddamn brown eyes....

"Chilled, I love you." I stated, then kissed him before he had time to reply. His lips were warm, and like always fireworks went off, and butterflies in my stomach. We pulled away, and he had a big smile planted on his face.

"I love you too, Minxy." He said, kissing me on the forehead. We climbed to the top of the hill, and sat there for the longest time in the snow.
