I am stuck in the middle of the cool, and calming night and the bright, and hopeful morning, the two states equidistant from each other. My eyes find their way up into the sky, and before me was the enchanting mixture of the dark night sky and the early morning.
The stars wink at me, and the Moon smiles down upon me, her radiant glow illuminating the night sky, and the clouds lay idly, all their minds in other places. The Sun is confident and keeps her head high, her bright and wondrous smile forces me to look away, but she welcomes me in the morning with her tender kisses that leave my human skin feel warm and loved.
Despite this, I turn to the Moon and her starry dark night, and I see her begin to fade. My face falls, and she graciously smiles down at me.
"Don't fret, my dear pet. I may bid you adieu so soon, but I'll be back. My dear sister Sun will take care of you while I am gone." And with a last, enlivening kiss, she and her twinkling winking stars were gone and I felt the balmy radiance of the Sun warm up my body, melting the icicles entrapped inside my body.
