❝Rumors only grow, and we both know what we know.❞

Left with that threatening message, he sat in his chair, his paranoid-growing eyes glared down at the letter before him, his brain drowning with a sea of thoughts and fears.

He grimaced at the thought of his dear wife finding out about his rendezvous with a certain scarlet lipstick-wearing siren.

 His brain began to crawl with how he held and touched the wine red dress wearing nymph more passionately than the wife he impregnated a multitude of times.

He shuddered at the thought of his own children finding out, their light feathery innocence pouring out their eyes, ears, and mouths, replaced with the dark and dreary reality that their father was a shameful adulterer.

And yet, as his mind raced with flashes of his past actions with that damned damsel, the feeling of guilt never arrived. The only thing he felt was the scandalous seductress' arms still wrapped around him, and the imprint of her licentious lips on his neck and mouth.
