Sonja was coming into view at the end of the 6 hour ride and Yoongi couldn't wait to get out of the car. His back and butt hurt from sitting for so long. The navigational system in the car chimed up and said to turn left. Yoongi looked out the car window as they drove through "downtown" Sonja. Calling it downtown was kind of a joke. There was a couple restaurants and bars, some souvenir and clothing shops, a barber shop, an ice cream shoppe, an antique store, a post office, and what looked like a book/comic/music store (thank god. Maybe Yoongi wouldn't be totally bored over the summer).
Before Yoongi knew it the car was parked (ha ha ha Park Jimin) at what was to be his new residence for the summer. A small little blue cottage with white trim surrounded by a decent sized backyard and some apple trees. It was very picturesque but no matter how nice the place was Yoongi still didn't want to be there.
Yoongi was helping his parents unload the car and had already claimed his room. His mom said that it was nice and spacey, big enough to have friends over. Yeah like Yoongi was going to be making a lot of those. As soon as the car was unpacked Yoongi face planted on his bed exhausted. All he wanted to do was sleep.
"Yoongi," a voice said interrupting Yoongi's short lived sleep. Yoongi groaned and sat up as his mom entered his room. "Yoongi baby we're going downtown to get something to eat. Would you like to come with us?" Would he like to come with them? Fucking no. All he wanted was sleep in his own bed-back in Daegu. But of course he would never voice these thoughts unless he wanted to be killed by two angry parents.
"No thanks mom," he replied instead. "I'm going to sleep for a little while. I might go out later though."
"Ok Yoongs. I'm going to lock the door behind us. There's an extra key on the kitchen counter." Yoongi just nodded in response and sank back down on his bed and back to sleep.
