Earth & Water.

Joe's POV:                                                                                                                                                     I woke up and just laid there staring at the cement ceiling of my room. I knew no one else besides José would up by now but i had duties to preform. I got up and went to a small dresser on the corner of my room. I pulled out a black muscle shirt that fit me a bit tight. I took out some black loose cargo jeans to go with it, and finished it of with a big blue shirt that had graffiti signs on it. I opened my room door and began my morning routine. I first went out side to check on the traps we had set around the house for the hunters. Then i went to go check on our pets, well Jose's. I opened the gate and immediately a white and black husky jumped on top of me licking me as if there was no tomorrow. His red and blue eyes reminded me of Jose's. They shared a special bond. If Jose died so did the dog and if the dog died Jose would loose his powers. For that reason we had him locked and heavily guarded since the day we found him. I still remember when that happened. It was roughly the same time they found me and i unlocked my powers.

I was at a fair with my mom and dad. I had so much fun eating anything i could and riding every single ride till my  head was red with heat from running all over the fair. Then my dad asked if i wanted to ride the  Ferris  wheel. I had always been afraid of it for some reason. I never wanted to ride it but it was my dad's birthday so i decided to ride it just this once.

When we got up high i felt amazing. The lights from the other rides seamed magical. Everyone looked like little toys. The little pond glistered as if it was made of diamonds. I felt invincible,as if nothing could stop me. Then reality literally crashed me back to earth. The ride got bumpy and it scared me. At the same time my eyes started to burn and i fell to the floor in pain. I could hear my dad trying to calm me down but i couldn't make out what he was trying to say.

Out of no where i opened my eyes in time to see a wave crash into the Ferris wheel. I was twisting and turning trough the wave as it continued. I could hear the cries of everyone. I could almost feel evrery persons soul  that were dying or already had . I could feel the earth being ripped apart. Then everything was still. I got up and i couldn't feel anything. No pain no sadness just nothing. I looked around and saw that only the Ferris wheel had been destroyed. I saw my parents under the scrapped metal. I ran to them holding their hands as their blood mixed with the soil.

" It took you long enough baby" My mom said to me in such a week  voice i could barley hear her.

" I knew you had it in you son" My dad said next to her  He had a proud look on his face that soon left as he started coughing up blood. He looked up at me one last time looked at my mom and kissed her lips gently for the last time as they both left me.

Anger swelled inside of me and i saw my vision go blurry but i could see my body start turning into rock........... When i came to i was half frozen and there was some guy in front of me. His eyes weren't normal. They were lizard like and one was royal blue and the other blood red.

" You okay man?" his voice was kind but you could tell there was pain behind it. The ice began to melt as his left eye, the red one glowed. All i could do is nod as i noticed the wreckage around me and a random husky next to him. With the same eye colors as him.

" He was almost killed in your rampage so i allowed him to swallow my blood to live. you can do that if you want later on. Oh and you destroyed the whole fair"........... " I thought you might want to know that and your right arm is stuck as rock. I'm not sure why but i think it'll help later on"

I had noticed i had spaced out when jose's dog started licking me. I pet him one last time and stood up. I looked at a mirror and saw a tear had fallen down me cheek. I also noticed my eye color was changing from brown, symbolizing fall, to white blue, symbolizing winter. I wiped a tear and smiled remembering the proud look and the promised i made to him and my moms memories.

I swore with all my life that i would only use my powers for good and never to hurt.
